17 and 27 are special numbers connected with the End-Times and the Last things.
As Jesus said, I am the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, it is worth noting that in the King James Version of the Bible the first and last verse of the bible have a 17 and 27 pattern.
As can be seen from the verses below they both have 44 Letters, which are comprised of 17 vowels (highlighted in Bold) and 27 consonants – Notable also is that 44 is 22 (the number of Israel) x 2 (Son of God) with Israel also representing all believers. So, through these numbers, the first and Last verse of God’s entire revelation to mankind are seen to be the work of God the Father through the Son by the Power and inspiration of the Holy Spirit to create Israel (all who prevail with God) and graft all believers into it – see vowels highlighted in Bold in these verses below.
1 In the beginning God created -- the heaven and -- the earth. Genesis 1:1
21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Revelation 22:21
So, 17 is connected with the beginning of things and 27 is connected with the end of things, noting that Jesus also said that the End-Times would be as in the days of Noah. In this regard, the Flood began on the 17th day of the month
11 In the -- six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. Genesis 7:11
And it Ended on the 27th day of the month:
"And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried. 15 And God spoke unto Noah, saying,16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee." Genesis 8:14-16
Further to this, three times in Noah’s Timeline, the number 27 appears in relation to the final things:
(1) - End of the Rain (27th day of the 3rd month)
(2) - End of God's wrath, as symbolized by the Dove returning with a leaf from an Olive branch (27th day of the 11th month).
(3) - End of the flood / judgement (27th day of the 2nd month).
Additionally
- Jesus as the Lamb of God became the Passover Lamb, being Sacrificed for our Redemption on the 14th Nisan in 32 AD. He spent 3 days and nights in the Grave (Wed 14th Nisan – Sat 17th Nisan) before being raised to life on the 17th Nisan, at the end of the Sabbath day, remembering that the Jewish day begins and ends at 6 in the evening.
- In the Passover Feast there is also a hidden 27 that comes about because Moses was instructed to tell the people to select their lamb on the 10th day of the month before slaughtering on the 14th. Fast forward to the days of Jesus, He presented Himself as the Lamb of God on the 10th Nisan (Lamb Selection Day) on what is often referred to as Palm Sunday and ultimately would conclude His Sacrifice by rising three days later on the 17th Nisan – 10 + 17 = 27.
- The New Covenant written in Jesus' Blood was recorded in the New Testament (another name for covenant) and being God's final Covenant with Mankind, it is revealed in 27 books with the Revelation of Jesus Christ being the 27th book.
