27 – The Redemption Connection and Timing Clues - David Wills - 2025

Please Note that the following is in no way meant to imply that Jesus is absolutely coming back on a certain date, it is simply meant to show how many of the numbers revealed in Scripture allow for the possibilities of certain dates. At the end of the day, God is absolutely sovereign, and He cannot be put into a box and because the events of the 'last days' that include the Rapture, and the Second Coming, will be the final chance of Salvation for a 'Fallen Humanity', there is the also a very real possibility that He will delay.

Essentially, when Jesus comes, everybody's eternal destiny will literally be set in Stone (Jesus is the cornerstone of offence, or the stumbling block), without any further opportunity to repent, so the eternal omnipotent God, who is full of Grace and Mercy, which is the entire story of the bible, can certainly choose to give people extra time, if He so desires. As such, the numbers may point to the real events about to unfold, or they may be a major wake-up call to get us to watch; wait and pray for as many souls as possible to come into the kingdom of God.

Either way, we are close, and all the signs that the bible has spoken about have manifested in our day and they are screaming at us to get right with God because Jesus is coming very, very, soon.

27 - The Redemption Connection

With that said, we will now look at the number 27 and its connections to Redemption and some possible timing clues. While 27 is clearly connected to the ‘end of things’, as was shown here (Click-here), and is also connected to Redemption through the event of the Cross as shown here (Click-here), there is actually a lot more to it than that. As will be seen, it is also directly related to God’s Presence and by extension, it is a factor in determining when Jesus could be returning, which logically would be the greatest fulfilment of all the 'last day' prophecies that involve - Redemption and God’s Presence.

However, before we go any further on this, we just need to quickly review the actual numbers associated with the Fall and Redemption of Mankind.

The Fall and Redemption of Mankind

In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth and established an endless cycle of Sabbath Rests based upon the number 7. This meant that every 7th day was a day of rest. Initially, before the fall of mankind, there was no need of any cycles of Redemption to be established, such as the Shmita (every 7th year), which was a release of debts and a rest for the land, or the Jubilee (every 50th year), where everything lost was restored including their land. So, life continued in an uninterrupted cycle of 7s until Adam sinned.

The bible supports that this occurred when Adam was 99, which means that mankind in Adam had actually walked with God for 98 years, or two Sabbath cycles of years – 2 x 49 (7x7) which is 98 years, before Adam sinned at 99.

Then God, in reversing the curse precisely, arranged for Redemption to be connected with 99:

  • giving the promise of the Son to Abraham (a picture of Father God giving His Son, who would redeem all who would Trust Him, when he was 99 years old.
  • it is also the reason for the verses in Matthew 18 and Luke 15 that say He leaves the 99 (Redeemed) to save the one lost sheep.
  • Also, at the Cross (see the Graphic below) we see that the Crucifixion occur at 9 o’clock and Jesus’ death on the Cross occurred at the 9th hour, so there were two bookend 9’s at the Cross that show this event of Redemption being connected with the number 99.
  • Then when you precede this by another 9 being connected with the hours of prayer that led up to the Cross, you have three 9s or 999 or 27 (9+9+9) representing Redemption.

Essentially, as the following passage suggests Jesus began praying around 9 pm and after an hour He admonished the disciples for not being able to watch with Him for one hour while praying. He then prayed a second time and third time with the suggestion being that each time was again for around an hour because each time He found them asleep again and as verse 43 states He prayed the same words. So finally, after about 3 hours of prayer He said that the Hour of His betrayal into the hands of sinners was at hand. Many commentators agree that this places His arrest around midnight, the darkest part of the day, that symbolized the work of Satan in these events.  

36 Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.” 37 And He took with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. 38 Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.” 39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” 40 Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? 41 Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.” 42 Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.” 43 And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy. 44 So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. 45 Then He came to His disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.” Matthew 26:36-46

So, we now see that the number 27 is associated with:

  • Last things / End Times and
  • Redemption

27 and the Presence of God

However, there is still more to it than that, which can be seen by looking at the Tabernacle of Moses, which was a symbol and prophetic picture of Jesus dwelling with us and as such is clearly about the presence of God with us.

In fact, the word translated Tabernacle in English is the Hebrew wordמִשְׁכָּן  miškān. It is a masculine noun meaning dwelling, tabernacle, or sanctuary, with the most significant meaning of the word indicating that it is the temporary dwelling place of the Lord, the Tabernacle, where His glory can be manifested among His people.

Firstly, as we will see from the Layout of the Tabernacle, God has hidden some large Time-period or Age-related timing clues into its dimensions.

To understand these clues though, we need to remember what He said in 2 Peter 3:8:

“8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day”

 This meant that the 6 days of Creation, followed by the day of Rest (Sabbath), were actually a template for 6,000 years of human history to be followed by a 1,000 - year rule (Millenium), and that together these would form the entirety of prophetic history prior to a new Heaven and a new Earth being created on the 8th day of Creation, which itself was foreshadowed by Shemini Atzeret (שְׁמִינִי עֲצֶרֶת‎—"

the 8th [day] of Assembly") found in the Feasts of the Lord that are mentioned in Leviticus 23:36

36 For seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it. Leviticus 23:36

Amazingly, the dimensions of the Tabernacle revealed the 'Age of Grace' and the 'Millenium Age' as follows:

The Tabernacle proper, not the outer court, is comprised of two compartments:

(1) The Holy of Holies; and

(2) The Holy Place.

The Holy Place - is 20 cubits (L) x 10 cubits (W) x 10 cubits (H) = 2,000 cubic cubits representing the 2,000 years of the Church Age, or 'Age of Grace' because in the Holy Place are all the Sacraments that a Believer is familiar with, in-relation to his walk with Jesus, ie., The Menorah (Jesus is the Light of the World); The Shew Bread (Jesus is the Bread of Life); and the Altar of Incense (representing the prayers of the saints).

The Holy of Holies - where the Glory of God’s Presence resided between the Cherubim on top of the Ark of the Covenant (above the mercy seat), was a perfect cube with the outer dimensions being 10 cubits (L) x 10 cubits (W) x 10 cubits (H) = 1,000 cubic cubits or the 1,000 years of the 'Millennial Age', where God’s Throne will be literally be on earth again, just as it was in the Holy of Holies both in the Tabernacle in the wilderness, and later in the Temple of Solomon.

So, together the enclosure and its contents within the Tabernacle grounds symbolizes the 3,000 years of Human history beginning with the incarnation of Jesus Christ who was also called Emmanuel, which means 'God with Us'. Given that the Tabernacle as a whole was a picture of Jesus with Revelation 21:3 stating that He is the Tabernacle (as follows):

3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. Revelation 21:3

then the dimensions of the outer grounds are like the dimensions of the Tabernacle enclosure for the purposes of emphasizing the redemptive aspects of the work of Jesus. In this respect, we can see the following:

Length Tabernacle Grounds - 100 cubits

Width of Tabernacle Grounds - 50 cubits

Gate - to outer court - was 20 cubits by 5 cubits = 100 sq cubits

Door - to Holy Place - was 10 cubits by 10 cubits = 100 sq cubits

Veil - Holy of Holies - was 10 cubits by 10 cubits = 100 sq cubits

  • 100 represents a generation - the first generation of Humanity from Adam were fallen with the bible supporting that Cain and Able were twins that were born outside of the Garden of Eden, when Adam was 100 years old, after He was expelled when He fell at 99 years of age.

  • Jesus is the way to the Father, which is symbolised by the Gate that leads to the Bronze Altar (picturing Jesus' sacrifice, noting in John's revelation of the risen Lord recorded in the Book of Revelation 1:15, Jesus feet appeared to be like brass or bronze) before going past the Bronze Laver for cleansing (picturing the living waters of the Holy Spirit) to reach the door to the Holy Place (picturing entering into a relationship with Jesus) that ultimately leads us to the Holy of Holies, where the 'Glory of the Father' resides.

15 His feet were like fine brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters Revelation 1:15

  • Essentially, Jesus and the length of 100 cubits are about Him being the second Adam who would bring about a second generation of righteous humanity that would be saved by Faith through Grace. In this way, Jesus would redeem the fallen generation that began when Adam was 100, remembering that Adam and Eve were special creations of God, they were not begotten like their descendants.

The significance of the 50th or Jubilee year

The one dimension that stands apart from the others is the width of the Tabernacle Ground at 50 cubits. Here we can see that the nature of Redemption is characterized by the number 50, which would come to be associated with the Jubilee year that is described in Leviticus Chapter 25:8-17:

8 ‘And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. 9 Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. 10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family. 11 That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of its own accord, nor gather the grapes of your untended vine. 12 For it is the Jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat its produce from the field. 13 In this Year of Jubilee, each of you shall return to his possession. 14 And if you sell anything to your neighbor or buy from your neighbor’s hand, you shall not oppress one another. 15 According to the number of years after the Jubilee you shall buy from your neighbor, and according to the number of years of crops he shall sell to you. 16 According to the multitude of years you shall increase its price, and according to the fewer number of years you shall diminish its price; for he sells to you according to the number of the years of the crops. 17 Therefore you shall not oppress one another, but you shall fear your God; for I am the LORD your God. Leviticus 25:8-17

Importantly, the Jubilee or 50th Year begins on the Day of Atonement (Judgement Day) and it is for the purpose of restoring what God's people have lost. As such, it is central to the restoration of Israel in God's end-time sequence of events and as will be seen links with the number 27 to form what I believe are some stunning connections, that point to some possible timing clues related to Jesus' return.

27 - its connection to the Holy of Holies in the Tabernacle

Further to this, through a close reading of the dimensions given in Exodus 25 and 26, it can be deduced that the boards used to create the walls of the Tabernacle were half a cubit thick, so allowing for the boards and the curtain separating the Holy of Holies from the Holy Place, the inner dimensions are seen to be 9 cubits wide, by 9 cubits long, by 10 cubits high. This means that the inner volume of the Holy of Holies, that holds the Ark of the Covenant, was 810 cubits cubed, which is 27 x 30.

IMPORTANTLY - 810 is also 81 x 10 (Law) and as will be seen later 81 is a very significant number, that as a multiple of 27, involves the same meaning as its root number.

However, for now we will just focus on 27, which we can see here is also about the Presence of God in connection with 30, which was the age of Jesus when He began His earthly ministry to save mankind. It was also the age that one of Aaron’s descendants had to be before they could serve as a High Priest, who was the only one who could enter the Holy of Holies, to put the blood onto the mercy seat on the Ark of the Covenant in the Tabernacle. So, this is a connection between Jesus and the High Priest remembering as it says in Hebrews 5 that God the Father appointed Him for the purpose of becoming the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him:

5 So also Christ did not glorify Himself to become High Priest, but it was He who said to Him: “You are My Son, Today I have begotten You.”
6 As He also says in another place: “You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek”; Hebrews 5:5-6

and

9 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, 10 called by God as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,” Hebrews 5:9-10

27 – its connection to the Ark of the Covenant

Notably, the only thing found in the Holy of Holies is the Ark of the Covenant. Exodus 25:10 gives us its dimensions:

“10 “And they shall make an ark of acacia wood; two and a half cubits shall be its length, a cubit and a half its width, and a cubit and a half its height.” Exodus 25:10

So, given the standard length of a cubit is 18 inches (Cubit | Ancient, Length, Unit | Britannica), and the Ark of the Covenant is 1.5 cubits (27 inches) by 1.5 cubits (27 inches) by 2.5 cubits (45 inches), which yields a volume of 5.625 cubits cubed (32,805 cubic inches), we can see three different measurements that again include 27, and which are all related to God’s Presence and are all prophetic. Notably, 45 is also a part of this (being equal to the length of the Ark) and as such it is also connected to both God's presence and His revelation of every number in Scripture, which are obviously formed from different combinations of the numbers 1- 9, which all add up to 45. 

Amazingly, in this regard, if you divide the numbers for the internal volume of the Holy of Holies by the volume of the Ark of the Covenant, the only article within the space, you get exactly 144, as follows:

810 / 5.625 = 144

Significantly, 144 represents all of humanity that will believe, both Jew and Gentile. It shows that in the end, we will all be in the throne room, the Holy of Holies, worshiping Jehovah (יְהוָ֔ה). We will dwell where He dwells, forever.

This is confirmed by remembering that when God created the World, He chose to do it in exactly 6 days of 24 hours, or 144 hours. So just as it was in the beginning, so it will be in the end with the 144,000 sealed by God to help bring in the last Harvest of believers before ETERNITY begins. Then in the eternal Kingdom the walls of the New Jerusalem that comes down from Heaven involve 144 cubits.

17 Then he measured its wall: one hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of an angel. Revelation 21:17

Mathematically, the 144,000 are built into the Holy of Holies, so the Tabernacle that prophetically reveals through its dimensions that the 'Age of Grace' is about to end, also reveals God’s heart to save humanity during this last window of time, thus fulfilling what God declared in the Creation Week itself, by completing it in 144 hours. 

So, we now see the number 27 associated with:

  • Last things / End-Times
  • Redemption and
  • God’s Presence

But there is still more. 

27 and God’s Holiness

In this regard, if we again look at what God has revealed in relation to the construction of the Tabernacle, we will see another connection to 27 that touches on God’s Holiness.

Exodus 25 – 27 (even the chapter numbers confirm things) describe its construction. Notably there are 3 precious metals used Bronze; Silver; and Gold that increase in value as you progress towards the inner sanctuary and God’s Presence.

Bronze - The Bronze was used in the outer court for building the articles associated with our Atonement, including the Altar; the Bronze Laver; and the Utensils for managing these things.

Silver - The Silver is associated with our Redemption (noting Jesus was sold for 30 pieces of silver) and in the Tabernacle was used for the Sockets and Hooks associated with Joining the Wall Boards that formed the Tabernacle proper and the Curtains that formed the enclosure for the outer court.

Gold - The Gold however was used throughout the Internal Surfaces of both the Holy of Holies and the Holy Place. Also, the articles that were inside the Tabernacle were either plated with Gold or made from solid Gold. Clearly, as Gold was the most precious metal of the three, it was used to again emphasize God’s Presence, but more than that, Scripture talks about the PURITY of Gold to emphasize the Holiness of God and for the need for the Believer to be purified.

  • Amazingly, in this regard, secular man has developed a scale for quantifying the purity of precious metals called the ‘Millesimal Fineness Scale’ – it almost sounds like it's recognizing the Believer’s need to be purified before the Millenium, when our Holy God and King Jesus will reign.
  • Essentially, this Scale that quantifies the purity of Gold, registers it in parts per 1,000 and the absolutely Purest Gold that is obtainable on this scale, that is used throughout the world, is 999 for 24k Gold. The Karat system simply measures the ratio of gold to other metals in an alloy and 24k gold is the purest that is obtainable with a ratio of 9% and it is also known as 999 Gold.
  • So, 999 (9+9+9=27) that was seen in the Cross event (Redemption) is now also seen to be associated with the Purity and Holiness of God as well as His Presence when He dwells, or Tabernacles, with us.

So, in Summary we now see 27 as connected with:

  • Last things / End Times
  • Redemption
  • God’s Presence
  • God’s Purity and Holiness

27 – an end-time number and timing clues

However, it is in connection with the Last things / End Times that we will now focus.

In this regard, we are going to investigate the idea that God may have used the number 27 and it multiples, as part of His prophetic time-line and in so doing may have actually hidden some timing clues in the historical events that both led up to the rebirth of Israel (Fig Tree Prophecy) and other events that have furthered God’s purpose for them as a nation, noting that Israel is truly the Key to all of End Time Prophecy.

To this end, we will be using the following multipliers of 27:

  • 27 x 1 =27 – 1 is Unity or God the Father.
  • 27 x 2 = 54 – 2 is Union or the Son of God.
  • 27 x 3 = 81 – 3 is Divinity or the Godhead.
  • 27 x 4 = 108 – 4 is the World.
  • 27 x 5 = 135 – 5 is the Work of the Holy Spirit; Grace; or Empowering of the Spirit.

Firstly though, we will now look at the actual Historical Events that stand alone and at least on the surface appear to have no connection with the number 27 that God has given such significance to, remembering that it was also related to the end of God’s Judgement in Noah’s flood (Click-here) and was encoded in the last verse of the Bible (Click-here), that finalizes God’s revelation to mankind.

Israel's Historical Events

Importantly, the 7 historical events shown in the timeline above can be divided into 2 categories – those that relate to Jubilee events and those which are connected with the Fig Tree Prophecy that relates to Israel’s rebirth.

To differentiate these, I have listed them below with different colors. The 4 historical events starting in 1867, that are highlighted below in Orange are all Jubilee events that occur 50 years apart. As such, they all form a connected sequence highlighting God’s end-time plans.

These Jubilee events stand in stark contrast to the 3 historical events highlighted below in Green, that start in 1897 and finish 51 later years in 1948. There is one Jubilee period in 1947, but this does not connect any further to any other of the dates, at least not by a 50-year pattern. As such, the dates in Green stand alone and as will be seen are related directly to the Fig Tree Prophecy.

Israel’s Modern Events

  • 1867– Mark Twain Visit - that brought world attention back to the Promised Land after nearly 2,000 years.
    • 1897 – First Zionist Congress - God Calls His people Home - Theodore Herzl said the nation would be born within 50 years.
    • 1947 - UN Resolution 50 years later, just as Herzl had predicted, led to the birth of Israel one year later in 1948.
    • 1948 – Fig Tree Prophecy – ISRAEL REBORN
  • 1917 – Balfour Declaration and Liberation of Jerusalem - first recognition by a major world power for the need to re-establish the                   Jewish Homeland and liberation of Jerusalem in WW1.
  • 1967 – 6 Day War - a miraculous victory by Israel saw them regain East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount after nearly 2,000 years.
  • 2017 – Jerusalem Declaration - recognition by US President Trump that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel.

Significantly, we see from the Jubilee sequence that started in 1867, that while there is a progression of God in completing His plan of Redemption and fulfilling His promises to His people, this does not tell us when we will receive All of God’s Promises, as outlined in Daniel’s 70-week prophecy, or does it?

Given that Jubilee Sequence is all about Restoring what has been lost and appears to be connected with the first fall of humanity, which occurred when Adam was 99, then 120 Jubilees later, or 6,000 years we would expect the Rapture (the next prophetic event in God’s Redemption Timeline) that is often called the Hidden event of the Church to occur - noting that the Church itself was a mystery first revealed to Paul in his ministry to the Gentiles.

As such, I would expect a hidden Rapture date to be connected with one of the Jubilee years highlighted in Orange above, as this will be when everything lost to every believer, who is Trusting the Lord, will be restored.

So as previously mentioned, I believe that this is where the both the Historical Jubilee Events and God’s special ‘timing number 27’, that represents the last things, along with its multiples, will come into play.

27 and God’s End-Time Jubilee Events

1867 – Mark Twain- God brings back public awareness to the Holy Land after nearly 2,000 years.

  • 1867 + 81 (27x3) = 1948 – Rebirth of Nation of Israel
    • The multiplying factor of 3 represents God's hand to create a nation in that land again in fulfilment of prophecy. Interestingly, the numbers of 1867 when added appropriately give us 1+8+6+7=22 the number for Israel (click-here for further information).

1917 - Balfour Declaration and liberation of Jerusalem – This was the world’s first official recognition of physical Israel’s right to exist as a nation and the world’s first official step to recreating it after the English General Allenby (in WW1) liberated Jerusalem from exactly 400 years (8 x 50) of Ottoman Turkish Rule that started in 1517.

  • 1917 + 108 (27x 4) = 2025 – Possible Rapture??
    • The multiplying factor of 4 represents the World and in this instance could be an act of God to save his people (spiritual Israel) out of the world in the Rapture, if it was to occur in 2025.

1967 - 6 Day War – Miraculous victory of God who defeated multiple armies to restore the Land and East Jerusalem and the Temple Mount back to the Jews, after nearly 2,000 years.

  • 1967 + 54 (27x2) = 2021 – Possible Judgement against the Nations
    • The multiplying factor of 2 represents the Son of God (2nd person of the Trinity) and so in this Instance, just as the 6 Day war was a miracle for Israel and a Judgement against the nations that were trying to destroy it, this factor of 27 could be a Judgement by the Lord against the nations of the World that continually refuse to allow His chosen nation to exist. As such, 2021 was also the year that unleashed a world-wide vaccination program and lockdowns, in connection with the plague of Covid 19.

2017 - Jerusalem Declaration - As God’s ultimate goal was achieved in what appears to be the last Jubilee Year (2017-2018) before the Rapture, when Trump finally declared to the world that the city that God has put His name on belonged to Israel.

There were no further acts related to 27, or its multiples, required in this Jubilee Sequence. However, as will be seen below, this event in 2017 was a monumental conclusion to what was effectively a trilogy of Jubilee events, as summarized below:

– 3 Jubilees (150 years or 3 x 50) after Mark Twain brought attention back to the Holy Land, the leader of the free world at that time (Donald Trump), against the Will of other world leaders, officially declared Jerusalem to be Israel’s eternal and undivided Capital, in-line with Biblical Prophecy. 

Essentially, 2017 was a staggering reversal, by an All-Powerful God, of the fortunes of the Land He had given to His Chosen People. The restoration started in 1867 when Mark Twain visited the Holy Land and famously described it as being desolate and barren in his book "The Innocents Abroad." He said it was...

“… a desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds—a silent mournful expanse… We never saw a human being on the whole route… There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of a worthless soil, had almost deserted the country.”

In doing this, he fulfilled the prophecy found in Deuteronomy 29:22-23 (see verse below), which talks about the land becoming barren and being a warning to future generations, such that strangers who will see it will wonder why the land has been devastated. 

22 “Then the generations to come, both your own descendants and the foreigners who come from distant lands, will see the devastation of the land and the diseases the LORD inflicts on it. 23 They will exclaim, ‘The whole land is devastated by sulfur and salt. It is a wasteland with nothing planted and nothing growing, not even a blade of grass. It is like the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the LORD destroyed in his intense anger.’ Deuteronomy 29:22-23

– 2 Jubilees (100 years or 2 x 50) after the 1917 Balfour Declaration (that declared support for Israel to become a nation again) and after General Allenby in WW1 Liberated Jerusalem from 400 years of occupation by the Ottoman Turks, Jerusalem was declared by the leading World power as the eternal Capital of Israel - again another major restoration and reversal of fortune.

– 1 Jubilee (50 years or 1 x 50) after the 1967 six day war that restored all of Jerusalem, including the Temple Mount, to God's Chosen People, Jerusalem was restored as the eternal capital of Israel - again it was a restoration of all that had been lost to the Jewish people following Titus destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD. And it came exactly 50 years after God gave His people back both access and control of the city in the promised land, that is the only city that bears God's name, as it states in 2 Chronicles and 1 Kings:

6 Yet I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’ 2 Chronicles 6:6

and

36 And to his son I will give one tribe, that My servant David may always have a lamp before Me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen for Myself, to put My name there. 1 Kings 11:36

So in summary, the Jubilee Events that span from 1867-2017 are all about the Restoration of the Land, and the people as a Nation and in connection with the end-time number 27 seem to have a possible pointer to a Rapture in 2025, remembering that God is still on the Throne and if He delays , as He says in 2 Peter 3:9, it is because He does not want anyone to be lost:

9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9

27 and God’s Fig Tree Prophecy

This is based upon Matthew 24:32 -35:

 32 “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. 33 So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors! 34 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Matthew 24:32-35

It is important to note that the ‘Fig Tree prophecy’ involves 2 aspects:

(1) The first is that the Land and people of Israel (The Fig Tree) would be reborn - symbolized by the Fig Tree beginning to put forward leaves. As we have seen above, this event really gained traction when the First Zionist Congress was held in 1897. It was essentially God's call to His people to come home to the land He had promised them, and it was fulfilled 50 years (one Jubilee) later when the UN passed a resolution in 1947 for Israel to become a nation again. However, as was detailed above, the event was also connected to the 1867 visit of Mark Twain which brought public attention back to the Holy Land / Israel with its ultimate fulfilment occurring 81 years later or 27 (Gods end-time Number) x 3 - (remember now the 81 x 10 that defined the dimensions of the Holy of Holies which contained the 10 commandments within the Ark of the Covenant and that was all about God's presence with His people). Importantly, it would find its ultimate resolution in 1948 when after battling with the Arabs, who did not accept the UN resolution and had immediately launched a war, Israel would finally declare itself to be a state on the 14th of May 1948. 

  • Significantly, this was 51 years after the inaugural 1867 event, which is significant because it was exactly 51 days after the Israelites were rescued from the slavery of Egypt (a picture of the world) that Moses consecrated the people to God at the foot of Mt Sinai (which means mount of thorns in Hebrew - a picture of the curse), to be His people, and 51 has some special qualities as follows:
    • 17 x 3 = 51 - so 51 is connected to new beginnings, with 17 being the day that the flood of Noah began and 17 being the day that Jesus was Resurrected multiplied by 3, the number of God and the Trinity.
    • 51 x 3 = 153 - and so 51, again multiplied by 3 the number of God, is also connected with the number of fish in John 21 that in the context of the passage is about the great Harvest of Souls that the Lord was promising to bring in through his disciples. It is prophetically also about the salvation of many in the last days:

11 Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken. John 21:11    

So, in this way, the Fig Tree Prophecy, that is about the rebirth of Israel in the Last Days, is also a pointer the outpouring of God's Spirit in the lead up to both the Rapture event and the Second Physical Coming of Jesus, which are two phases of Jesus' return that are clearly shown in the bible.                                                          

(2) Secondly, the generation that sees Israel reborn would not pass away until all the things that Jesus described, prior to speaking about the Fig Tree, were fulfilled. As these events include everything right up until the end of the Tribulation, then the ultimate conclusion of the Fig Tree Prophecy will be when the Second Coming Occurs. So, we will now look to see if a multiple of 27, in conjunction with the 3 years associated with the Fig Tree Prophecy (1897,1947,1948), plays any part in determining a date for the Second Coming.

1897 – First Zionist Congress – God begins to call His people home.

        1897 + 135 (27x5) = 2032

- the multiplying Factor of 5 is the work of the Holy Spirit and here represents that period of Grace during which people can come to the Lord, that will end with the Second Coming, if it is to occur in 2032.

So right off the bat, we have a very real and possible date (year), particularly if 2025 is the year of the Rapture, 7 years earlier. Also, in a non-27 related calculation, adding 120 the symbolic number of years after which the Lord said He would no longer strive with sinful man, we find that it brings us from God's first call for His people to come Home (1897) to possibly the last Jubilee year (2017) before the Rapture and Second coming.  Noting again, that it was the same year that all of Jerusalem, including the Temple Mount, was finally declared by the Leader of the free world to be the eternal capital of Israel.

1897 + 120 = 2017

1947 – UN Resolution 181 - officially allowing the state of Israel to be created.

- 1947 - no discernible multiplying factor to add here because Israel did not come into existence at that time. However, it is worth noting that exactly 70 years later, symbolically their 'time of exile' finished at the same time as the President of the US declared Jerusalem to be Israel’s eternal capital. Also, it is interesting how the actual UN Resolution number mirrors the number of years from 1867-1948 in that the Resolution number 181 is 100 (represents the fallen generation with Adam being 100 y.o. when Cain and Able born) + 81 (the number of years until Israel and God's people are restored in the last days and again a number connected with the Holy of Holies and God's Presence).

1948 – Fig Tree Prophecy – ISRAEL REBORN – as detailed previously, this occurred 81 years after Mark Twain brought attention back to the Promised Land in 1867.

1867 + 81 (27x3) = 1948

Again, using the 27 multipliers, but this time using 1948 as the starting point and adding the same 81 years we get the following date:

  • 1948 + 81(27x3) = 2029

- The multiplying factor of 3 is God (Divinity) and if the Rapture were to start on the Feast of Trumpets 2025 in September, then 3.5 years to the middle of the Tribulation would be April 2029, which is defined in scripture as the time when the Arch-Angel Michael stands up to war against Satan in Heaven, and to cast him down to the earth (see Revelation 12-13). If Jesus was crucified in AD 32, as suggested by the Daniel 70 weeks prophecy and Sir Robert Anderson (first head of Scotland Yard) in his book 'The Coming Prince', then the year ending in 29 would correspond with when Jesus was Baptized and began His ministry. Importantly, Jesus referred to this period as the Time of the 'Great Tribulation' saying that from this point on, it would be worse than it had ever been in history. So, this date could be a pointer to the ‘Abomination of Desolation’.

Summary of Events

In summary, using the 27 End-Time number as a multiplier, we find that the Jubilee Years produced two significant dates 1948 (Rebirth of Israel) and possibly the Rapture in 2025; and the Fig Tree Years produced two significant dates 2032 (Possibly the 2nd Coming) and 2029 (Possibly Mid-Tribulation Events).

So, amongst all these dates, we have two that point to years that are still in our future that we believe could be the Rapture and Second Coming, as per below:

1)    1917 - Balfour Declaration – First official recognition by the world of physical Israel’s right to exist and first official step to recreating it as a nation.

                        1917 + 108 (27x 4) = 2025

 - The multiplying factor of 4 represents the World and in this instance could be an act of God to save his people (spiritual Israel) out of the world in the Rapture.

2)    1897 – First Zionist Congress – God begins to call His people home.

                        1897 + 135 (27x5) = 2032

 -  Notably the multiplying factor of 5 is the work of the Holy Spirit and here represents that period of Grace, during which people can come to the Lord, that would end with the Second Coming, if it was to occur in 2032, in fulfilment of the Fig Tree Prophecy, 84 years after Israel became a Nation in 1948, noting that 84 was the age of Jacob when he married his 2 brides Leah and Rachel, a week apart.

 - Given 84 also equals 12 x 7, this would also be the completion of the ‘Seed of the Woman’ Prophecy (see link here and a second link here), with Jesus crushing Satan’s Head, as we move into the Millenium. Similarly, the 144 seen earlier, that was related to the volume of the Holy of Holies and the Ark of the Covenant and that was a picture of God's desire to save all of humanity, can also be seen here as a perfect fulfilment of the 'Seed of the Woman' prophecy. This is because the 'Seed of the Woman' is directly connected to the 'coming of age' of a woman in Israel, that occurs at the age of 12 (when they hold the Bat Mitzvah) and noting also that 122  = 144

- Interestingly, adding the numbers 1897 also gives us 1+8+9+7=25 another possible connection to God’s Promises (click here) and a possible hint at a Rapture year of 2025 as well. For those who think it is a stretch to think that God uses numbers in this way, it is good to remember that Jesus last words were a quote for Psalm 22 and that 22 not only stands for the nation of Israel (click here) but that the book of Psalms is positioned as the 19th book from Genesis and the 48th book from Revelation and that the nation of Israel was reborn in 1948 and 1+9+4+8 = 22. Essentially, God has created, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, many layers of meaning both textually and numerically and consistently uses numbers to always carry the same meaning.

Another example, of some hidden use of numbers, can be seen in the work of Robert Breaker who has a YouTube Channel and does a great job of connecting the 6 days of creation with the major events that have occurred throughout nearly 6,000 years of human history. He shows how God has prophetically hidden some clues in the Creation Week to demonstrate that He is God and only He can tell you what is going to happen before it happens, so that when it happens you will know He is God, just like it says in Isaiah 46:10

10 I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, ‘My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.’ Isaiah 46:10

So, Robert shows that events of Day 1 in creation equal the key event that happens historically in Year 0 - 1,000; and Day 2 equals the key event in Year 1,000 - 2,000 etc. Robert's work on this can be seen at the following link (https://youtu.be/QSU6IVkBwCQ?si=GwAeBcoD16Ybds3k).

For example, he shows that:

Day 1 or the first 1,000 years relates to Adam and the fall of man - all about his spiritual condition, just as God said on day 1 of Creation" let there be Light" (which represents holiness) and then He separated it from the Darkness (represents sin) and in doing He was prophetically mirroring man's separation from God in the first day of history, noting that as a result of Sin Adam died when he was 930 years old, just before the first day of history ended.

Day 2 relates to the years from 1,000 - 2,000 and in the Creation week was all about the God separating the waters of the deep, such  that you had the waters above and the waters below; and the key event of that second 1,000 year period of history was the Flood of Noah, when the waters above (the windows of heaven were opened) combined with the waters below (fountains of the deep) as a judgment against the sinfulness of man.

Day 3 in Creation involved the gathering of the waters to reveal the Land and the appearance of Grass; and Herbs that all had Seed within themselves and Fruit Trees that would yield Fruit after its own kind; and the key event at the beginning of the 3rd day historically was the Calling of Abraham to come to a "Land" that God would show him; and then God promised him "Seed" as numerous as the Stars in Heaven and said that He would make him exceedingly "Fruitful" etc;

These parallels between the Day numbers of Creation and the Historical Events for a matching 1,000 year period continue for all the days of Creation and are based upon 2 Peter 3:8 which states that to the Lord a Day is as a thousand years and a thousand years is as a day. The point is that God can use numbers in unconventional ways, but He always uses them consistently in Scripture, and they always carry the same meaning, so when we see some of the patterns that I am highlighting and some of the conclusions I am drawing from them, one need not dismiss them too quickly, rather one should be like the Bereans and seek the Lord to see whether these things be so.

Finally, though, it is important to note that this is all still just speculation, at least in relation to the conclusions about possible dates. But it is certainly interesting how certain numbers, such as 27, that are given great significance in scripture do open up the possibilities; and it should at the very least be considered as a significant mathematical anomaly that the Gap (in years) between these key events, in the prophetic timeline of Israel, would involve so many multiples of 27.

Either way, God is in Control and all indications are that Jesus is coming back SOON.
