Introduction
As many are aware, God has woven many numerical patterns into the bible, not only to affirm that He is in control of history, in spite of our free will, but to show that He is all powerful and can be trusted with our lives. He delights in us when we begin to engage His Word, and He has many treasures there for us beyond the message of the gospel, although that will always remain of prime importance.
Sometimes these treasures are in the plain word of prophecy, that is founded on the principle that God declares the end before the beginning, as it states in Isaiah 46:
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things that are not yet done, Saying, My counsel shall stand, And I will do all My pleasure,’ Isaiah 46:10
At other times His treasures are hidden, such that it requires you to search beyond the plain text and consider what you are finding. Again, God encourages us to do this saying in Proverbs 25:2:
2 It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, But the glory of kings is to search out a matter. Proverbs 25:2
Clearly, this can require greater time and effort than simply reading the plain text, but this is exactly what God wants us to do because His Word is a Living Word and by engaging ourselves in it, we are engaging ourselves with Him and He is our ultimate reward. God wants to be a Father to us - as He says, in Matthew 7:7-11:
7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9 Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Matthew 7:7-11
Genealogy from Adam to Jesus
So, from this perspective, I began to wonder what God may have hidden in the genealogy of the Messianic Line from Adam to Jesus and what follows is an analysis of a few things that I found that I believe give some insight to the End-Times and the Rapture, that the Apostle Paul calls the Blessed Hope:
11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, 12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works. Titus 2:11-14

The first thing to note from this portion of the genealogy, that includes the first 10 names in the line of the Messiah, from Adam to Noah, is that a sentence can be formed from the meaning associated with each name, that foreshadows the Gospel of Christ.
I have written on this previously in the article titled “Methuselah’s Age: 969 and it’s hidden timing clues” - click here to see further details. However, the aspect that I would like to emphasize here, in relation to this hidden message, is that the first name Adam can biblically be understood in two different ways.
The first sees it being interpreted in a straightforward fashion, in line with the genealogical context of the passage, with Adam being the first created man, the father of all of humanity who would fall and need to be redeemed, while the second option will be the one that I will be exploring further here. This is the understanding that the hidden message may be referring to the Last Adam, or Jesus the Messiah / Christ, who would come to redeem the first Adam and all his descendants, who all inherited Adam’s fallen nature.
It is from this perspective, that I hope to highlight some aspects of the God’s redemptive plan through the Messianic line that extends from the first to the last Adam, that may shed further light on the timing of the Last-Days. With that said we can now format the message hidden in the first 10 names from Adam to Noah as follows:
A Man (Last Adam - Jesus) has been appointed (Seth) for mortal man (Enosh) who is in sorrow (Kenan). Praise God (Mahalalel) He will come down (Jared) teaching (Enoch) that His death with bring (Methuselah) the despairing (Lamech) comfort (Noah).
A Foundation for God’s Redemptive Numbers
Before we begin to analyze this message to determine what it may be revealing, we first need to lay some groundwork to understand the numbers that we will be considering. Essentially, it is my contention that the numbers God uses throughout the bible are founded on both aspects of His nature and the historical timeline of events that surround mankind’s fall from grace.
I have dealt with this in some detail in other articles on this website, so for the sake of brevity, I will just briefly summarize the relevant ones here:
98 - Mankind walked with God in Righteousness for 2 Sabbath cycles of 49 (7x7) years for a total of 98 years. This is reflected in the 980 times that Jesus’ name is mentioned in the Bible, with 490 occurrences occurring in the even books of the New Testament and 490 occurring in the odd books of the New Testament.
99 - Mankind in Adam fell in the 99th year, which is why God, who perfectly reverses the curse, came to Abram with the promise of the Son (Isaac), through whom all the covenant promises of God would come, when he was 99 years old. It is also why all the numbers in the dates of the Lord’s Feasts that represent all the key events of Redemption add to 99:
1) Passover: 14th Nisan – Jesus’ Death
2) Unleavened Bread: 15th Nisan – Jesus’ Burial
3) Feast of First-Fruits: 16th Nisan – Wave Offering of Jesus Sacrifice before the Father
4) Feast of Weeks (Pentecost): 6th Sivan
5) Feast of Trumpets: 1st Tishrei – God’s people gather to meet with God – possible Rapture
6) Day of Atonement: 10th Tishrei
7) Feast of Tabernacles: 15th Tishrei
8) 8th Day Gathering (Shmini Atzeret): 22nd Tishrei
14 + 15 + 16 + 6 + 1 + 10 + 15 + 22 = 99
Additionally, it is why Jesus pictured the Redeemed as the 99 that He left to find the one lost sheep; and why Jesus was crucified at the 3rd hour 9am and died at the 9th hour 3 pm, perfectly representing both the 99 of Redemption and His age of 33, when He died to Redeem mankind. Notably God is a trinity who does things in 3s, so 33 x 3 also equals 99.
100 – After Jesus gave Abraham the promise of the son, which was ultimately a picture of God the Father and His Son in Jesus, at the age of 99, He said to Abraham that He would return at exactly the same time the following year, which would be when Abraham was 100 years old. This represented the age Adam was when Cain and Able, the first generation of fallen humanity were born, and would become the Bible’s first reference to the number of years in a generation - this will be very important later.
As will be seen, these 3 numbers (98, 99 and 100) form the foundation of the meaning of many others.
Example of how other numbers connect to 98 and the end of Striving
An example of how this will work is as follows, in relation to the number 22 and 120:
Since Jesus was also God’s perfect Son ISRAEL, as indicated by Matthew 2:15 citing Hosea 11:1 in connection with Jesus:
1 “When Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son. Hosea 11:1
And ISRAEL can be demonstrated as being associated with the number 22 (Click here and Here for further information), then the following can also be seen to be valid:
98 (last time man walked righteously with God) + 22 (Israel through whom God would save humanity) = 120
This effectively connects 120 with the activities of God to save fallen man, through the Messiah of Israel. Importantly though, it also places a time limit on how long this process can take place, as the following verse given in relation to the days of Noah reveals. Here, it becomes a symbol that represents the point at which God will no longer strive with sinful man:
3 And the LORD said, my spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years. Genesis 6:3
Significantly, while the connection of this number with the end-times is implicit, in its contextual meaning, God has also encoded this idea into this number through the standard Gematria value of the letters that comprise it (because Hebrew does not use numbers, only words for numbers). In this way, it becomes a literal pointer to the end-times, as follows:
The Hebrew letters that comprise the words for 120 are מֵאָ֥ה and עֶשְׂרִ֖ים,

The above shows that the Total value of the individual letters, that comprise the words that represent 120 in scripture, is 666. This is an end-time number that represents the ultimate man of Sin, the Antichrist.
So now, you can both see that 120 symbolically represents the limit, or the end of ‘God Striving with fallen Man’, and is a pointer to the end-times. Then by being directly connected with ISRAEL (22) a symbol of God’s Son through whom mankind (who fell at 99 after walking previously with God for 98 years) is redeemed.
This is important because the name ISRAEL (יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל), that means “he that has striven with God and prevailed”, shows that our ‘Striving’ ends when we are ‘Saved’ and are made a ‘part of’, or are ‘grafted into’ Israel. As such, this picture is completed when we fast forward to the time of Pentecost, when the scriptures record the number of disciples, at that time, as being a symbolic 120:
15 In those days Peter stood up among the brothers (the company of persons was in all about 120) and said, Acts 1:15
This occurs in a passage where the end of the wicked Judas is contrasted to God’s desire for those who love Him. Though Jesus had striven with Judas he had refused to turn away from his evil desires and instead betrays Him. Graphically, scripture describes what happens when God no longer strives with sinful man, saying about Judas:
18 (Now this man acquired a field with the reward of his wickedness, and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out. Acts 1:18
Following that, Judas was replaced and the 120 were all gathered together on the day of Pentecost, which mirrored the day that Moses had received the Law on Mount Sinai. Numerous scriptures had stated that the day was coming when the law of God would be written on the hearts of believers, such as Jeremiah 31:33
33 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts. And I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Jeremiah 31:33
And that day had now come, with the Holy Spirit being given in power to God’s people:
1 When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:1-4
Now full of the Holy Spirit, the apostle Peter, one of the leaders of the 120 stood up and delivered a sermon that essentially connects all of these themes. It demonstrates the fulfilment of God’s promise that connects the symbolic 120 with the years, that ‘sinful man’ will have before God’s striving with Him will finish, by linking Pentecost (the day when God writes His law on the hearts of those who are part of Israel), with the end-time event known as the Day of the Lord. Scripture repeatedly shows will be a time when the wicked will be judged (end of striving) and all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved, being grafted into the promises of Israel.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And -- on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Acts 2:14-21
The end of Striving - and the story of Jacob
Amazingly, this is all symbolized within the story of Jacob who becomes Israel.
In Genesis 32:28, God declares that he will no longer be called Jacob, which means ‘heel grabber and supplanter’, but would be called Israel, representing all who strive with God and prevail as the following shows:
26 Then he said, “Let me go, for the day has broken.” But Jacob said, “I will not let you go unless you bless me.” 27 And he said to him, “What is your name?” And he said, “Jacob.” 28 Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.” 29 Then Jacob asked him, “Please tell me your name.” But he said, “Why is it that you ask my name?” And there he blessed him. 30 So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, saying, “For I have seen God face to face, and yet my life has been delivered.” Genesis 32:26-30
Contextually, this gains greater significance when one understands that this change of name is meant to remind the reader of God’s first promise of a Redeemer in Genesis 3:15 where Satan, the original “heel grabber” and “supplanter”, is actually described as being the one who would bruise or strike at the heel of the Seed of the Woman, God’s Messiah and Saviour Jesus.
15 And I will put enmity between thee and -- the woman, and between thy seed and -- her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15
Essentially, the Hebrew word for "heel" is עָקֵב (akev), which is also the root of Jacob's name,יַעֲקֹב (Ya'akov). So, Jacob's name is often interpreted as "heel-grabber" or "supplanter," referencing his grasping Esau's heel at birth (Genesis 25:26). The act of grasping or holding onto the heel has symbolic significance related to spiritually struggling or striving. Jacob's name reflects this notion, as he later wrestles with God and is renamed Israel, which parallels the struggle mentioned in Genesis 3:15 between the Serpent and the Seed of the Woman.
Ultimately, Jacob’s blessing and new name represent the new birth of every Christian, who like Jacob can say that their life has been delivered. Effectively, in Romans 11:11–24 Paul uses the analogy of a cultivated olive tree to represent Israel and the branches of a wild olive tree to represent Gentile believers. Some natural branches (Israel) were removed because they rejected their messiah, and some wild branches (Gentiles) were grafted in (verse 17). The important point is that because of this, all believers end up becoming a part of ISRAEL and participate in the promises and benefits given originally to Abraham and later passed on through Jacob / Israel.
The Messianic Seed Line – Adam to Jesus
With this understanding we will now consider the first aspect of the genealogy from Adam to Jesus – the Messianic Seed Line that is the fulfilment of the 'Seed of the Woman' prophecy in Genesis 3:15, where Jesus is described as the one who will defeat Satan by crushing his head.
Firstly, it is clear from scripture that Adam and Eve had many other children quite quickly after Cain and Able, in fulfillment of Gods command seen in Gen 1:27-28:
27 So God created -- man in his own image, in the image of God created he -- him; male and female created he -- them. 28 And God blessed -- them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish -- the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. Genesis 1:27-28
In chapter 4 of Genesis, God emphasizes this fruitfulness by detailing the line of Cain after he had murdered Able, with Cain’s wife clearly coming from Adam and Eve’s other descendants. Importantly, God uses this description of Cain’s descendants to set up a distinction between the sinful fallen nature of his line and the need for Adam to have another son, who through righteousness with God, would carry the seed of the Messiah.
So, by the end of Chapter 4, in verse 25, we read:
25 And Adam knew -- his wife again; and she bore a son, and called his -- name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom -- Cain slew. Genesis 4:25
Significantly, the name of his Son was Seth, which means appointed.
שֵׁת (sheth) – Seth
שׁית –(shith) – Appointed
It has a range of related meanings that in relation to Divine Appointment involve God’s determination to cause something to occur in accordance with His Will. The screenshot from the Logos Bible software below shows how it can be translated depending on the context:

Importantly, שִׁית, which is Strongs number H7896, is first seen in Genesis 3:15:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and -- the woman, and between thy seed and -- her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15 (KJV)
Here the Hebrew word שִׁית, that is used elsewhere for ‘appointed’, is translated as ‘put’.
Both meanings carry the understanding that God sovereignly determined that the Serpent’s involvement (later identified in scripture as Satan), in the Fall of Mankind, will lead to Satan’s eventual destruction. As such, this passage is essentially the foundation of all Bible prophecy because it declares that God will have complete victory over the darkness that entered His perfect creation through the ‘Seed of the Woman’, that scripture later reveals to be the Messiah - God Himself in the Word, or Logos of God, made flesh, would defeat the works of Satan.
This Incarnation was necessary because Man’s free will made Adam and all of his descendants accountable for their sin and rebellion, which carried the penalty of death. However, God’s love is so vast and unfathomable that He added humanity to His divinity and in Jesus became fully God and fully Man, so that He could pay the debt that no man alone could pay. Through His death as the 'Son of Man', the 'Seed of the Woman', He would restore all, who would repent from their sin and call upon His name, to a right relationship with God again.
Notably, this victory is encapsulated in the word translated in this passage as ‘bruise’. It is the Hebrew word שׁוּף (shuph) and can be understood as both "bruise" and "crush," depending on the context. It carries the idea of inflicting a wound or injury, often with a connotation of it being a decisive, or significant impact. For example, in Genesis 3:15, where the word שׁוּף is used twice, we need to consider the context of both instances to determine the best translation. One instance describes the serpent's action towards the woman's offspring ("you will bruise His heel") and the other describes the offspring's action towards the serpent ("He will crush your head"). The context here suggests a struggle with a definitive outcome, where the serpent's action is a lesser injury (bruising the heel), while the offspring's action is more decisive and fatal (crushing the head). This is why different versions of the bible can vary in their translations, such as the NIV, which translates it as follows:
15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Genesis 3:15 (NIV)
The importance of making this distinction is that it emphasizes the totality of God’s victory over the Serpent / Satan and thereby the absolute significance of God Putting, or Appointing enmity between the woman and between Satan’s offspring and hers (‘Seed of the Woman’ – the Messiah, Jesus the Christ).
JESUS is APPOINTED to destroy SATAN and his Works
Last Adam and the Age of Seth – The APPOINTED One
So, understanding that Jesus, as the Last Adam, as revealed in the beginning of the genealogy is the one appointed to redeem mankind, it is worth considering the age of Adam when Seth, who represented the ‘appointed one’, was born:
3 When Adam had lived 130 years, he had a son in his own likeness, in his own image; and he named him Seth. 4 After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. 5 Altogether, Adam lived a total of 930 years, and then he died. Genesis 5:3-5
Genesis 5:3 shows that Adam was 130 years old, so if we now consider this in reference to the numbers associated with the fall of man, touched on above, and understand that Jesus the last Adam can also be associated with 130, which can be represented as 100 + 30, then as follows we can begin to see some possible hidden end-time clues:
100 – the fallen generation. Adam was 100 years old when Cain and Able the first generation were born, noting Adam and Eve were special creations, not generated and Cain and Able were both ‘fallen in nature’ from birth.
30 – scripture (such as Numbers 4 and other references) makes it clear that a high priest who came from the line of Aaron had to be a minimum of 30 years of age.
Therefore Jesus, as the last Adam, began His ministry as the ‘Seed of the Woman’, who had come to destroy Satan and his works, at the age of 30. And He came to redeem fallen humanity, who were represented by the number 100.
Then as we did in the previous example, we can factor this into the numbers associated with the fall of man as follows:
130 (Age of Adam at time of the appointed one) - 98 (last time man walked righteously with God) = 132
This shows that there were 32 years between when mankind fell and when God’s ‘appointed one’ (Seth), the one carrying the Messianic Seed, as God’s solution to redeem mankind, was born.
So, what is the significance of this?
At this point, it is worth introducing an undisputed biblical precedent that involves God hiding a modern event in the genealogical ages from Adam to Abraham, the first part of the ‘Messianic line’. The following table shows the age of Adam when each of the descendants, up to Abraham, were born:

Clearly the age of Adam when Abraham is born is a standout number at 1948 years old.
Therefore, could it be that the same God who appointed Abraham (the one first given the promise of the nation Israel) to be born 1948 years after Adam, in a reflection of Israel’s modern re-birth on May 14, 1948, all hidden in the ages of the genealogy, could be repeating the typology here, in relation to Adam and Seth.
Essentially, by appointing Seth, who according to the hidden sentence (formed by the names in the genealogy) represents God’s appointed solution to Mortal (Enosh) Man’s needs for a Redeemer, 32 years after mankind in Adam fell at 98, when Adam was 130; it could arguably be seen as a reflection of Jesus (the Last Adam – God’s appointed solution being appointed to return to rescue Mortal Man, who put their faith in Him, in a year that also ends in 32.
Man (Last Adam - Jesus) has been appointed (Seth) for mortal man (Enosh) who is in sorrow (Kenan). Praise God (Mahalalel) He will come down (Jared) teaching (Enoch) that His death with bring (Methuselah) the despairing (Lamech) comfort (Noah).
This is exactly what numerous academics believe, when they state that Jesus (the appointed one) was crucified in 32 AD, based upon Daniel 9:24 and Daniel’s 70 Weeks Prophecy.
Then with reference to the prophet Hosea who stated that ISRAEL will be revived after 2 days, on the 3rd day:
2 After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will raise us up, that we may live before him. Hosea 6:2
And
2 Peter 3:8 that states:
8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8
It is then a logical progression to consider that two ‘one- thousand’ year days on from 32 AD would be 2032, with the revival of ISRAEL as a nation occurring after the 2nd Coming of Jesus.
Also, it is interesting to note that because Scripture consistently uses numbers, we can drill down even further with this by noting that:
32 = 4 x 8:
4 = Creation and the World (see link here for further information on this (4: Numbers and their Meanings | EndTime-BibleProphecy)
8 = Jesus (English) = Ἰησοῦς (Greek) =Yeshua (Hebrew – abbreviated) = Yehoshua (Hebrew – Full name), which in Hebrew means Jehovah will save those that call for help.
The following shows how Jesus is associated with the number 8
Greek Gematria Values

Jesus, or Ἰησοῦς, as His name appears in the New Testament, has the following values associated with the letters of his name that reflect the number of Salvation (8) in its Triune form:
Ἰ (10) + η (8) + σ (200) + ο (70) + ῦ (400) + ς (200) = 888
So inherently 32, the number and year that God has associated with the one He has appointed to come and rescue us, is seen by its factors (4 and 8) to be associated with Jesus (8) being sent into the world (4) to save us and bring us Comfort.
The Connection to Comfort
This aspect of Comfort is very important because it is also associated with the meaning of the name Noah, that is part of the hidden prophetic sentence, and it is clearly a significant part of Jesus’ mission on earth.
In other articles, I demonstrated that 58 is the number that is associated with Noah because in Hebrew his name is נֹחַ , which is comprised of two letters that in Hebrew Gematria have the following value:
נַֹ (Nun) that has the value of 50 and
חַ (Heth)ַ that has the value of 8 for a
Total of 58.
Then since the word for Comfort or Grace, which is what the hidden sentence says the anointed one is coming to bring us, is exactly the same two letters reversed חֵן, we see Noah’s literal connection to Comfort by the meaning of his name, not just the Comfort he would bring by building the Ark that would save humanity.
Here the letter Nun looks slightly differently because whenever this letter is on the end of a word, it has a different form. However, the important point is that Noah and Comfort and Grace are the same letters, and they all have the same value 58 – see Table with Hebrew Gematria values below:

This is significant because we see that Noah remained in the Ark (which is a picture of Jesus), for 57 days after the flood had finished, before God told him and his family to come out. The following shows this, noting that each month was 30 days in length (which can be demonstrated from many scriptures in Daniel and Revelation). So, from the 1st day of the 1st month to the 27th day of the 2nd month is 57 days:
13 And it came to pass in the six hundredth and first year, in the first month, the first day of the month, the waters were dried up from off the earth: and Noah removed -- the covering of the ark, and looked, and, behold, the face of the ground was dry. 14 And in the second month, on the seven and twentieth day of the month, was the earth dried. 15 And God spoke unto Noah, saying, 16 Go forth of the ark, thou, and thy wife, and thy sons, and thy sons’ wives with thee. 17 Bring forth with thee every living thing that is with thee, of all flesh, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth; that they may breed abundantly in the earth, and be fruitful, and multiply upon the earth.18 And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him: 19 Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark. Genesis 8:13-19
The point here is that Noah, the man whose name means Comfort and has the value 58, spent 57 days after the Judgement had ended inside the Ark, a type of being hidden with Jesus, before coming out on the 58th day to begin his new life.
Another example of this connection between 57 and Jesus is the Menorah in the Holy Place of the Temple. It is widely acknowledge as pointing to Jesus who Scripture declares is the Light of the World and as the following picture shows it is actually comprised of 50 interconnecting parts in conjunction with 7 flames or lights, that represent the Holy Spirit – together this makes 57 parts that form this light.

Essentially the Holy Place with the Shew Bread and the Menorah mirror Jesus’ statements about Himself being the Bread of Life and the Light of the World. Therefore, Noah and his 57 extra days in the Ark after the flood had ended, before exiting on the 58th day, are definitely a picture of being hidden with Jesus.
A Timing Clue related to 58
If we then apply this typology to the end of days and use 1967 (the time of the '6-day war' when Israel regained East Jerusalem and the site of its Holy Place, the Temple Mount) as a starting point because Israel had been hidden for 19 years when the Arab world desired to destroy them (and 3 x 19 = 57); and then we add 58 years to it (in a year for a day principle), you get another potential pointer to a 'new beginning' that could be the Rapture.
This could be the time when Jesus will bring millions of Christians all over the world Comfort:
1967 + 58 = 2025 – Possible Rapture
Additionally, if we again look at the factors of 32 (which are 4 (world) and 8 (Jesus)), in relation to the number 58, we note the following:
4 (world) x 508 = 2032
Here the 508 is seen as being related to 58 because in Gematria the 0 can be ignored. As such, it is essentially saying that from the time of Christ’s birth until possibly the Second Coming in 2032, all believers who have put their trust in Him for the last 2,000 years, have like Noah been hidden with Christ.
8 x 254 = 2032 – as a multiple of 8, the year 2032 is also an extension of Jesus’ work in the world.
Also, it is interesting to note that:
58 x 3 = 232
Again, noting that 0s are ignored in Gematria, we essentially have a divine or trinitarian connection between 58 and 2032, where 232 could also be understood as 200 + 32, where 200 (100 x 2) represents the second or redeemed generation of Man in the ‘Last Adam’, as opposed to the 100 which was the first or fallen generation of Man in the ‘First Adam’, and 32 again representing the work of Jesus.
Ultimately, while we can see that 32 is not a direct factor of 2032, the factors of 32 are. In this way the number 32, that comes out of the difference between when Man in Adam fell at 98 years of age, and when Adam was appointed a new son in the line of the Messiah (at the age of 130), represents the work of Jesus the anointed one in the world. This includes 32 AD, when He was crucified and 2032 AD, when He could be returning in the 2nd Coming, exactly 2,000 years or two days after He was crucified.
If this is so, then it would follow that 2032 – 7 years for the Tribulation would bring us back to a possible Rapture from 2025 onwards.
Clearly, it could be later, because in 2 Peter 3:9 it says:
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
And this verse, which relates to a statement about Timing, includes the word ‘but’ that emphasises the importance of what follows that declares He is not Willing that any should be lost. Essentially, He is giving people Time to repent, which may mean that the expression ‘on the third day’ may not categorically mean it needs to be at the beginning of the third day, it could still be the on the third day, even if it occurs after 2025.
However, having said that, it is still worth noting that God’s timeline does appears to be precise, with the following verses showing that God has designated a 1,000 years for Satan to be bound, at the end of the Tribulation, and He will release him exactly at the end of the time, confirming twice that this will happen when both the 1,000 years are fulfilled and when the 1,000 expires:
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. Revelation 20:1-3
And
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, Revelation 20:7
So, from this perspective we should live with great expectation that because so many things point to 2025 God could be saying that this could be the year when we see our wonderful Lord and Saviour.
130 – Its Spiritual Nature.
With this understanding, it is also worth considering the Spiritual Nature of the number 130 to see the significance of why God chose for it to be connected to the idea of the Messiah, as the Last Adam, coming at an appointed time.
In the discussion that follows, we will also see how the number’s deeper meaning emphasizes the understanding that God through His love and all His acts of Redemption is literally reversing the curse that man brought upon himself.
In this respect, the Spiritual Nature of this number is an extension of all the numbers that reflect God Himself and his work in Redemption. This can be seen and understood more clearly by briefly reviewing the standard meanings of the first 16 numbers that include aspects of God; His Creation; Man’s Fall and God’s Provision for Redemption:
1 – Godhead; or God the Father.
2 – Unity; Relationship; or the 2nd Person of the Godhead in the Son of God.
3 – Divinity; Reality; the Triune God; or 3rd Person of the Godhead in the Holy Spirit.
4 – Creation or the World
5 – Grace of God in Creation
6 – Man – interestingly, as Man is made in God’s image and God is revealed within the first 3 numbers – 1,2, and 3, if you add these numbers together 1 +2 + 3 = 6, you get the number of man, who prior to the Fall was really a reflection of God, not His Divinity because God is Infinite’ Omnipotent; Omniscient; and Omnipresent and Man was never any of these things; rather just in some of His ontological forms such as His Threeness; and His Freewill; as well as His capacity to Love and Forgive.
So, in the number 6 we see a numerical confirmation that man is made in God’s image, with the aspects of God that are represented by the first three numbers also being present in the nature of man, noting Man’s three dimensional ‘Being and Nature’ also reflects God’s Triune Nature:
- Being:
- Soul - Father
- Body - Son
- Spirit - Spirit
- Nature (Soul):
- Will - Father
- Mind - Son
- Emotions - Spirit
7 – God’s Sevenfold Spiritual nature as revealed in Isaiah 11:1-2; and God’s Oath to complete all of His Promises. To cut a Covenant between two parties in ancient times was to be ‘Sevened.’ The following passage illustrates this idea:
27 And Abraham took sheep and oxen, and gave them unto Abimelech; and both of them made a covenant. 28 And Abraham set -- seven ewe lambs of the flock by themselves. 29 And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What mean -- these seven ewe lambs which thou hast set by themselves? 30 And he said, For these -- seven ewe lambs shalt thou take of my hand, that they may be a witness unto me, that I have digged -- this well. 31 Wherefore he called that place Beer-sheba; because there they swore both of them. 32 Thus they made a covenant at Beer-sheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the land of the Philistines. Genesis 21:27-32
8 – Gods’ Salvation and Saviour; or New Beginning; Eternity – Jesus was resurrected on the 1st Day of the week which also happens to be the 8th Day (Shmini Atzeret); Jesus’ name in Greek Gematria has the value 888. The 8th Day Gathering listed in Leviticus 23 is a pointer to the day following the 7th Day Millenium, the 7,000 years of human history on this earth before Jesus creates a new heaven and new earth at the start of the 8th day or 8th Millenia since creation. This will launch all who have put their faith in Him into Eternity with no end; no more pain and no more tears; suffering or death.
9 – God’s Work of Redemption
- To Save Mankind who in Adam fell at 99 years after creation
- And were saved on the Cross by Jesus who was Crucified at 9 am (3rd hour) and died at 9th Hour (3 pm) which represent both Jesus at 33 dying for those represented by the 99.
- It was the Triune God (3) in Jesus dying for Man when the Son of Man was 33 – noting that 3 x 33 = 99 and as it says in Colossians 2:9:
9 For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9
10 - law (symbolized by the 10 commandments) and the Spirit, noting that the power to live by the Law comes from the Holy Spirt. In a sense, God giving man the Law, which is really a description of His nature, is like inviting us to be part of His Family.
So really the first 10 numbers are all about God – even Man at number 6 tells us more about God than it does about Man because God chose to make us in His image. This was a true expression of Love because God lacked nothing, and it would cost Him everything to both ceate Man and give him freewill. That He would be willing to suffer and die for Man’s mistakes all to make Man part of God’s Family (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) is astounding.
11 - Lawlessness - this is seen in Dan 7:7-8 where the Antichrist is described as the 11th Horn
7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and broke in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. 8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things. Daniel 7:7-8
And then 2 Thessalonians 2:3 states he is the Lawless one:
3 Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction 2 Thessalonians 2:3
12 – ‘Seed of the Woman” – Messiah and Son of Man, whose first recorded words in His incarnation were at the age of 12, the age a girl becomes a woman in Israel. This event is celebrated as a Bat Mitzvah when a girl turns 12. The ‘Seed of the Woman’ was God’s declaration to Satan in the form of a Serpent at the Fall of Man, for his part in deceiving Eve for the purpose of causing Adam to Sin against the known Law or Command of God, not to eat the Fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil – Seen in Genesis 3:15
13 - Rebel and Rebellion - some examples of how 13 is associated with aspects of a Rebellious nature include:
- Judas the disciple who rebelled effectively became the 13th disciple
- Nimrod a type of antichrist was the 13th generation from Adam
- Revelation 13th chapter reveals Satan the Dragon the original Rebel
- In Genesis 13 the Unity between Abraham and Lot is broken by a rebellion between their herdsmen who did not want to share the resources of the land. This resulted in Lot leaving to go to Sodom, but in the 13th year there the kings of the area, who had all serving Chedorlaomer, a foreign King from Elam, decided to rebel and in the 14th year war broke out during which Lot was captured and Abram had to come to rescue him.
- 13 things defile a man according to Mark 7:
20 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. 21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, 22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: 23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. Mark 7:20-23
- King Solomon spent a little more than seven years building Jerusalem's temple, God's house of prayer for the nations (1Kings 6:38). In contrast, He spent 13 years building a home for himself!
1 But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.1Kings 7:1
- The English word "Hinnom" occurs in 13 times in 11 King James verses. The valley of Hinnom was the scene of the evil-inspired rites of the pagan god Moloch (or Molech). The practices related to this false deity received some credibility when they were knowingly allowed by King Solomon (1Kings 11:7) in order to please his non-Israelite wives.
- The destruction of Jericho is stamped with the number 13, for the city was marched around for six straight days, and on the seventh day, it was marched seven times, making 13 in total.
14 - God’s Day of Redemption - On the Feast of Passover God Himself in Jesus becomes the Passover Lamb such that by the blood of His sacrifice to our life we pass from Death to Life – As such, He provides a rescue a way of deliverance, salvation
15- Grace not to sin, and Undeserved Favour as Jesus was buried on the Feast of Unleavened Bread and went to Hell to complete the price of our Redemption and to purge our Sin.
16 - Jesus' sacrifice was offered as a Wave Offering before the Father on the Feast of First Fruits - His sacrifice is accepted by the Father, securing our Salvation.
Notably after the Law (10) is given by God, Mans failure, which will lead to the ultimate Man of Sin in the Antichrist (11), is followed by God’s solution in the ‘Seed of the Woman’ (12), who is Jesus as our Saviour laying down His life, as a payment for our Sin. This gives mankind a choice to either continue in our Sin, that leads to death, or to Repent and turn to God and Live. Those that continue to reject God’s solution of Salvation in Jesus are seen as being in Rebellion (13) against their Creator.
The Connection between 13 and 130
As stated, before in Gematria a ‘0’ is often ignored. So, 130 and 13 are related in their meaning with 13 simply being its root number, that at its core represents man’s Rebellion. However, 130 can also be understood as God’s appointed Solution, in that Man’s Rebellion represented by 13 was countered by God in an amazing act of Love, when He fulfilled the requirements of the law as represented by the number 10 to be able to offer Redemption as a free gift to all men, at the appointed time that is connected with the number 130, and all this is symbolized by the mathematical multiplication of the two numbers 13 x10 = 130 that synthesizes their meanings.
All of this shows that 130 not only represents God’s appointed solution, as was discussed earlier in this article, but here it also emphasizes its actual connection to the act of Rebellion that creates the need for God’s solution in the first place. In so doing, it also emphasizes how the God who desires be in relationship with Man and to walk with him, has acted in Love and Grace to ensure that every act of sin or rebellion, on Man’s part, is countered by a solution - He literally is the God who reverses the Curse.
Reversing the Curse
Therefore, we see the following in relation to Man’s Sin and Rebellion, and God’s Solution:
- God giving the Law (10) is the invitation to be a part of God’s Family
- Man falls short of God’s Law introducing Lawlessness (11) into God’s perfect creation by listening to his wife who was deceived by Satan, instead of doing being obedient to God. This act carried a death sentence because God is the source of Life and rejecting His will for us separates us from Life.
- God counters this by promising the Seed of the Woman (12) to come to destroy Satan and his works and to redeem Fallen Mankind by dying in our place and then offering new life as a gift of grace for those who will put their Trust in Him and seek to Sin no more through the power of the Holy Spirit.
- Man’s rebellion (13) arises when he rejects God’s offer of Grace, but simultaneously it is is met with God’s own 13, in that Jesus plus 12 disciples equals13. They modelled what it was to be born again by the Spirit and showed how the Spirit of Rebellion was defeated on the Cross for those who would Repent and turn back to God.
- All of this was foreshadowed by God’s People, the Israelites, in Egypt on Nisan 13 in 1446 BC. This day became their last night of slavery in Egypt, and Nisan14th, as the Passover, became their deliverance. It was a pointer to the greater Passover that would come on Nisan 14 in 32 AD. This date would become the first Easter on the Christian Calendar when Jesus, God’s solution became the Passover Lamb for all who would apply His blood over their lives, through faith. In this way, the Old Covenant (Law – 10) that was defined in 39 (13 x 3) books that symbolically contained all elements of our rebellion (13) was followed by God’s solution in the New Covenant, cut with the blood of Jesus. He was the Lamb of God, the Passover Lamb, who as God’s solution for Sin and Rebellion, was killed in our place on Nisan 14.
Summary of God’s Reversals
So amazingly, because God is the God who reverses the curse, we see twice, in a numerical sequence starting at 10, and involving 12 and 14 as actions of God, that the actions of the enemy are essentially countered by God, as follows:
10 - LAW of GOD - that would later be seen to represent the Law, as seen in the 10 commandments, was in the first instance just a single command, not to eat the Fruit from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil - at this time the Creation was Good.
11 – LAWLESSNESS - breaking the first commandment allowed Sin and Evil to enter the world, which allowed Lawlessness to enter God’s perfect Creation. This will ultimately lead to the Man of Lawlessness – Satan’s Seed, the Antichrist, the 11th Horn of Daniel.
12 – GOD'S POVISION in Seed of Woman - this lawlessness has been countered by the “Seed of the Woman”, God’s appointed Saviour who would Crush the Head of the Serpent / Satan – Genesis 3:15
13 – REBELLION - So, Satan threatened by this 'Seed of the Woman' prophecy raises a spirit of rebellion in man to fight against the ‘Seed of the Woman’ in Jesus the Christ. This ultimately culminates in Judas, who in his rebellion against Christ, effectively became the 13th disciple, after Satan entered into him on the night of the last Supper, causing him to betray Jesus the Christ with a kiss. Even here, where Satan appears to temporarily be in control, the seeds of his defeat are hinted at because, as mentioned above, there are 13 at the Last Supper, 12 disciples (representing the ‘Seed of the Woman’) and Jesus the source of his defeat. Importantly, Jesus’ sacrifice gives people a choice. This is reflected in the fact that Mem מ, the 13th Letter of the alphabet in the original Hebrew Pictographs, represents either the ‘Fountain of Living Waters’ or ‘Chaos’, as it did in the days of Noah, when God judged Mankind’s sin and rebellion.
Further to this, the preceding all reflects how perfectly God restores us when we fall. He takes the very details associated with our Sin and Rebellion and uses them as part of our redemption, thus reversing the Curse.
A great example of this is when the apostle Peter denied Jesus three times before a Coal fire after Jesus was arrested. Later, after His Death, Burial and Resurrection, Jesus could have simply said “I Forgive you” to restore Peter, who would have been carrying a great Burden for having deserted Jesus at His greatest time of need. However, the God who ‘reverses the curse’ instead chose to do a deeper work of healing in Peter’s life and again while in front of a Coal Fire on the beach, to precisely reverse the curse that had come upon Peter, Jesus said three times to Peter “…Do you love me…” and three times Peter responded that he did, or that Jesus knew that he did, so each time was a confirmation to Peter that his relationship had not been broken and Jesus’ commission to “then Feed His Sheep” meant that his purpose had not been lost. Each denial had been reversed by an affirmation, so what the enemy had done to Peter’s spirit in the dark, before a Coal Fire, was precisely reversed by Jesus before another Coal Fire early in the morning, indicating that His mercies are new every morning and a new day had begun. As such, Jesus’ Love is perfect. As it says in Hebrews 4:15-16:
15 For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:15-16
He understands our weaknesses and our infirmities, but unlike the enemy, He only seeks to restore us such that we can again walk with Him with our relationship and purpose restored.
14 GOD"S PROVISION in Passover Lamb – Judas’ rebellion, at Satan’s behest, is immediately countered by Jesus’ Sacrifice as He became the Passover Lamb on the 14th Nisan, the very night of the Passover, first seen in Egypt nearly 15 centuries earlier.
Incredibly this demonstrates that God is in full control because Satan who would do anything to oppose and hinder God’s plans actually helped God fulfil prophecy precisely by entering Judas on the 14th of Nisan, during the Passover Meal. By doing so, he effectively sealed his own fate because hours later the “Seed of the Woman” who said He would Crush the Head of Satan cried out on the Cross, that Satan sent him to, ...“IT IS FINISHED”
God is all sufficient
In this regard, it is also worth noting that God’s personal name in Hebrew יְהוָ֗ה (often called the ‘Tetragrammaton’) reveals that God is the only self-existing being in creation.
It has the value of 26 as follows:
י (Yod) - 10
ה (Hey) - 5
ו (Vav) - 6
ה (Hey) - 5
Total – 10 + 5 + 6 + 5 = 26
26 is 13 x 2 - so here again, it shows that God is all sufficient to counter the rebellion of Satan, represented by the number13, through the sacrifice of Jesus the perfect Son of God, the 2nd person of the Godhead.
Finally, to tie this together with God’s reversals, it is important to note from the summary above that the two numbers that represented God’s solutions, or His reversals, were 12, as the Old Testament ‘Seed of the Woman’, and 14, as the New Testament ‘Passover Lamb’. Significantly, it you add these two solutions together. that represent the totality of God’s Solutions. you get the value of God’s personal Name יְהוָ֗ה which is variously translated as Jehovah, or Yahweh
12 + 14 = 26
This again confirms that God is in full control of every aspect of man’s redemption.
130 – Another Timing Clue
We have now seen the connection between the number 13 and the number 130 and understand that 130 represents the appointed one as a foreshadow of Jesus fulfilling the Law on our behalf, to pay the price for our rebellion. Additionally, we have seen how 130 in association with 98 results in a hidden connection to 32, which is possibly a pointer to 32 AD (Crucifixion) and 2032 (2nd Coming) and understand that 2032 – 7 (Tribulation) = 2025 for the Rapture. So now we will consider one final timing clue, that again seems to confirm all this.
Narrative of Jacob
In the biblical narrative of Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel, we note that when he lost Joseph, thinking he was dead because of the actions of his other sons, he was 108 years old. Then, exactly 22 years later, when he was 130, he was reunited with his son again. So, these three numbers: 22; 108; and 130, that are all connected as part of these events, are together very significant, as will be seen:
The three numbers: 22; 108; and 130
22 – this number is associated with Israel as a nation, noting that Jacob / Israel was the 22nd Generation from Adam in the line to Christ. The Hebrew language, the official language of Israel also has 22 letters in its alphabet; and Jesus, as the perfect son, was equated by God with Israel, in Matthew 2:15, where it stated that Jesus was the fulfillment of Hosea 11:1, as per below:
5 and remained there until the death of Herod. This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, “Out of Egypt I called my son.” Matthew 2:15
And
1 “When Israel was a child, I loved him, And out of Egypt I called My son. Hosea 11:1
I have spoken about this connection between Israel and the number 22 in greater detail in other articles – click here and here for further details. The important thing to understand is that this connection exists, as we look at the meaning of the three numbers 22; 108 and 130 that all occur in the one event, where Jacob / Israel is reunited with his son, at the appointed time.
108 – In relation to this number, it is important to understand that it is a multiple of 27:
27 x 4 = 108
Significantly, 27 and its multiples are all connected with end-time events. For example, three times during Noah’s flood things ended on the 27th day:
- end of the Rain (Gen 7:12)
- end of God's wrath, symbolised by Dove returning with a leaf from an Olive branch (Gen 8:10)
- end of the flood / judgement (Gen 8:14)
Additionally, the New Covenant or Testament, which is also the last covenant established with Jesus’ blood is revealed in 27 books. Again, I have written in greater detail in other articles – see further details here about the significance of 27 because of its connection to the Cross Event of Jesus which involves three 9s (999 or 27), but for now it is worth noting the intriguing connection between modern end-time events and multiples of the number 27 – for example:
1867 – Mark Twain brings world attention to the Holy Land in his book “Innocents Abroad”
1867 + 81 (27 x 3) = 1948 when Israel became a nation again
1897 – First Zionist Congress to formulate plan to reestablish a homeland for the Jews.
1897 + 135 (27 x 5) = 2032 – possible Second Coming
1917 – Liberation of Jerusalem from 400 year of Occupation by the Ottoman Empire during WW2 by English General Allenby and Balfour Declaration, which was the first recognition by a World Power in the British Empire of the right to reestablish a Homeland in what was called at that time Palestine.
1917 + 108 (27 x 4) = 2025 – possible Rapture
130 – In another article, I covered how Archaeology has established that the Israelites entered the Promised land in 1406 BC – see link here for further details. By establishing that date, we can now see another link between a multiple of 130 and 2025 as follows:
1406 BC + 3900 (130 x 30) = 2025 after adjusting for no year ‘0’
This is a notable because if Jesus is the ‘appointed one’ represented by 130 and His ministry began when He was 30, then 130 x 30 = 3900 becomes a significant number. And if Jesus is also the perfect son ISRAEL, as shown above, then 3900 becomes the number that ties all of these elements together and covers the time from when Israel first became a nation to when it may enter the Tribulation, or as Jeremiah 30 calls it, “the time of Jacob’s Trouble”, as a nation.
Similarly, as was shown in that other article, linked to above, 3900 or 130 x 30 also covers the genealogical timeline from Adam – Jesus. This means that we are currently in the year 5,925 from Creation, which is short of the 6,000 years that scripture symbolically seems to be suggesting is allocated to mankind, before the millennium. However, in this regard, I have written another article – see link here for details that also covers a possible solution for this, based upon the scripture in Matthew 24, where Jesus states that unless the days were shortened no flesh would survive:
"21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened. Matthew 24:21-22
Clearly, the length of the Tribulation is fixed in numerous scriptures seen throughout Daniel and Revelation, as it relates to the final week of Daniel’s 70 weeks. So, if the 7 years of the Tribulation that culminate in the Second Physical Coming of Christ cannot be shortened then Jesus must be referring to the evil days that lead up to this time, which would logically apply to the overall length of Redemptive History from Adam to Christ and from Christ to the Tribulation. As such, the 3900-year patterns that appear in connection with this history seem to be a plausible explanation of the scripture above.
Meanings of generational names - 22 to 25
At this point, while much can be gleaned from the numbers associated with the names of the genealogy from Adam to Christ, as has been shown above with the names of Adam (mankind, including the First and the Last Adam in Jesus); Seth (appointed), Enosh (mortal) and Noah (comfort) etc., for the last part of this article I just want to focus on a few of the names, that seem to further support the possibility of there being an appointed time that corresponds with the 7-year period 2025- 2032.
These names will be taken from the following portion of the Messianic Seed Line from Adam to Christ:

God works in Patterns – Names; Generations; Psalms and Genesis
However, as I also believe that God works in patterns, I will simultaneously attempt to show connections between the meanings of the names and their corresponding Generation number, as well as to themes in their corresponding chapter numbers in both the Psalms and Genesis before attempting to determine what this may all reveal about the year in the 21st century that ends with the number under examination - if this makes sense.
Themes in the Psalms
However, before beginning with this analysis, I need to clarify the reasoning for looking at the Psalms.
Essentially, this idea came from a Prophecy program called ‘Prophecy in the News’. One of the original presenters was J. R. Church, who has since gone to be with the LORD. Some years ago, he made an interesting connection between the Psalms and the events of modern history. He suggested that there seemed to be a prophetic correlation between Psalm 1 and the year 1900 and consecutive Psalms similarly matched consecutive years - for example:
Psalm 46 matched 1946
Psalm 122 matched 2022
Psalm 123 matched 2023
Psalm 124 matched 2024 etc.
Please see below for a few examples of the Psalms matching a corresponding year, post 1900, in support of this being a valid pattern:
Psalm 46 matching 1946:
6 The nations raged, the kingdoms were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. 7 The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah 8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, Who has made desolations in the earth. 9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; Psalms 46:6-9
Clearly, WW2 had ended in 1945 and 1946 was the first year of peace. As such, the reference to making wars cease, particularly to the ends of the earth, certainly seems to support there being a prophetic connection here.
Psalm 67 matching 1967
4 Oh, let the nations be glad and sing for joy! For You shall judge the people righteously, And govern the nations on earth. Selah 5 Let the peoples praise You, O God; Let all the peoples praise You. 6 Then the earth shall yield her increase; God, our own God, shall bless us. 7 God shall bless us, And all the ends of the earth shall fear Him. Psalms 67:4-7
In 1967 a few nations came against Israel and God judged these nations, giving Israel a miraculous victory in the 6 Day war, and as God had told Abraham that ALL nations would be blessed through his descendants (Israel) this was also an event that should have caused the other nations of the world to rejoice. All these themes are in Psalm 67.
Then the following year 1968 was a year of peace that was attained after God had scattered Israel’s enemies:
Psalm 68 matching 1968
1 Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him. 2 As smoke is driven away, So drive them away; As wax melts before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 3 But let the righteous be glad; Let them rejoice before God; Yes, let them rejoice exceedingly.4 Sing to God, sing praises to His name; Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name YAH, And rejoice before Him. Psalms 68:1-4
Themes in Genesis
Similarly, I also believe there are parallels between the meanings of the generational names from Adam to Christ and their corresponding chapters of Genesis - for example:
Themes in Genesis 22 parallel events related to Jacob / Israel, the 22nd generation from Adam
Themes in Genesis 23 parallel events related to Judah the 23rd generation from Adam
Themes in Genesis 24 parallel events related to Perez the 24th generation from Adam etc.
So, when this is all put together, I will now be considering connections between the meanings of the names, along with its generational number and its corresponding chapter number in both Genesis and the Psalms. All of this will be done with the intent of looking for prophetic clues to the nature of their corresponding year in God’s redemptive timeline to see what it can tell us if anything about the relevant years.
For example:
Jacob / Israel, the 22nd generation will be considered in relation to the meaning of the number 22 along with themes in both Psalm 122 and Genesis 22; to see how it all relates to the year 2022.
Judah the 23rd generation will be considered in relation to the meaning of the number 23 along with themes in both Psalm 123 and Genesis 23; to see how it relates to the year 2023.
Perez the 24th generation will be considered in relation to the meaning of the number 24 along with themes in both Psalm 124 and Genesis 24; to see how it all relates to the year 2024 and finally
Hezron, the 25th generation will be considered in relation to the meaning of the number 25 along with themes in both Psalm 125 and Genesis 25; to see how it all relates to the year 2025.
Jacob - the 22nd generation and its connection to 2022
With all of this in mind, I will now begin to look at 4 of the names that start at Jacob because his name was changed to Israel and both Jacob / Israel, as the 22nd generation from Adam, and Israel, the nation that would come from his loins, are associated with the number 22. Additionally Matthew 24, through the Fig Tree prophecy, links the generation that will see Jesus return with the one that saw the nation of Israel reborn in 1948, noting also that 1+9+4+8 = 22; and as shown in another article about the Time of Jacob’s Trouble (see Link Here), the ages of Jacob during his time of trouble are also pointers to 2025 and 2032.
As was seen above in the Section about Striving and Jacob's Story, Jacob’s name means “supplanter, or heel grabber’ and his journey to becoming Israel in many ways reflects every human being’s journey from our fallen state to being born again with God’s Spirit. It starts with us being a person who has supplanted God’s will and authority in our life, with our own, this is the essence of pride. However, Jacob does not stay there, he wrestles with God seeking His blessing and ultimately prevails. As a result, God, changes his name to Israel because he has wrestled with God and Man and prevailed.
28 Then he said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel, for you have striven with God and with men, and have prevailed.” Genesis 32:28
As such, the name Israel represents all who are saved because they have repented (turned toward God) seeking His blessing, which as Christians we understand to be His forgiveness that leads to eternal life and God who is faithful to His promises banishes ungodliness from Jacob, which symbolically represents our lives before we are saved.
25 Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers: a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written, “The Deliverer will come from Zion, he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”; 27 “and this will be my covenant with them when I take away their sins.” Romans 11:25-27
So, Israel’s number is 22 and Jacob who became Israel was the 22nd Generation from Adam. Significantly, Jacob has some very tangible encounters with God that become foundational for the nation of Israel. For example, it is in connection with Jacob that we see the very first mention of the “House of God”. It is described in Genesis 28 as involving a ladder (commonly termed Jacob's Ladder) on which the angels of God were ascending and descending. In verse 17 he states:
7 And he was afraid and said, “How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven!” Genesis 28:17
The terms used here symbolize a sacred location where God's presence is felt. Jacob later names the place Bethel, which means "house of God" in Hebrew. While earlier accounts in the Bible mention altars, or places of worship (like those built by Abraham or Isaac), this is the first time the specific phrase "house of God" is used. It's a foundational moment in the scriptural narrative. And as Psalm 27 would later state, it was the deepest desire of King David, who as King over all of Israel was reflecting the desire of all of God’s people to dwell in the House of the Lord, so that we can behold his beauty forever:
4 One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple. Psalms 27:4
Thematically, this matches Psalm 122:
1 I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go into the house of the LORD.”2 Our feet have been standing Within your gates, O Jerusalem! 3 Jerusalem is built as a city that is compact together, 4 where the tribes go up, the tribes of the LORD, to the Testimony of Israel, to give thanks to the name of the LORD. 5 For thrones are set there for judgment, The thrones of the house of David.6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they prosper who love you. 7 Peace be within your walls, Prosperity within your palaces.” 8 For the sake of my brethren and companions, I will now say, “Peace be within you.” 9 Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek your good. Psalms 122
Notably, In 2022 – Orthodox Jews advanced plans for the 3rd Temple when “… they made the decision to start dressing the stones on Israel’s Independence Day, May 14, 2022. Because Arab groups operate most of the stone quarries in Israel, the Jews collected stones from fields and are in the process of preparing 23 large stones for the temple’s construction.” This is a quote from the following site: Has Israel started the construction of the Third Temple? – OpentheWord.org
So here we see a connection between Psalm 122 and the events of 2022 in Israel. It was the year that orthodox Jews for the first time in nearly 2,000 years began to cut the stones of the 3rd Temple. This was a dramatic advance in the prophetic timeline that seemed to largely go unnoticed. Essentially, the desire of Jews to rebuild the 'house of God' is growing almost exponentially now, and as above, while the other clues associated the number 22 with the nation of Israel and Psalm 122 emphasized the Temple that historically defined Israel as the 'people of God', who desired to dwell or tabernacle with them, it is extremely interesting to note the Genesis 22 connection.
Genesis 22 is all about the test of Abraham that resulted in God declaring a great blessing for Abraham and his seed, that would lead to the creation of the nation of Israel, as follows:
16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done -- this thing, and hast not withheld -- thy son, -- thine only son: 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply -- thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess -- the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. Genesis 22:16-18
This promise, that included a blessing for all the nations of the earth because Jesus as the fulfilment of the ‘Seed of the Woman’ is also called the Tabernacle / Temple of God (John 1:14; John 2:19-21;Rev 21:22; Hebrews 9:11-12; Colossians 2:9), was ultimately passed on to Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel. Then his sons and their descendants, who became the tribes of Israel, were united as a nation when Moses, as God’s deliverer, brought them out of Egypt and told them to build Him a dwelling place, which was at first the Tabernacle created in the Wilderness. This lasted for over 400 years until Solomon, King David’s son, built the grander and permanent Temple.
So thematically, it all appears to be connected.
The 23 rd Generation and its connection to 2023
These patterns continue when we consider 2023 in light of the number 23 and its connections with Psalm 123; and Genesis 23; along with the meaning of the name Judah (Let Him (God) Be Praised - Judah | The amazing name Judah: meaning and etymology), the 23rd person in the Messianic Line from Adam to Jesus.
Essentially, when we are saved and are grafted into Israel, this leads us to ‘praise God as seen in many Psalms, such as:
12 Sing to the LORD, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. 3 Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. 4 For the LORD is great and greatly to be praised…” Psalms 96:2-4
Importantly, this is the meaning of the next name Judah, who is the 23rd Generation from Adam. He followed on after Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel, to represent all who are saved. The meaning of his name puts God back into the Centre of our lives, as we are reminded that God is worthy to be Praised because He is Holy; All Loving; Gracious; Merciful and Omnipotent and as our focus shifts towards Him, He becomes the source of help, when we are in trouble.
In this way, He became the cry of many who sought God in the aftermath of the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, which was reflected in Psalm 123:
1 Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. 2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the LORD our God, Until He has mercy on us. 3 Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us! For we are exceedingly filled with contempt. 4 Our soul is exceedingly filled With the scorn of those who are at ease, With the contempt of the proud. Psalms 123
Importantly, the cries brought a response from God, as we saw in both the following Psalm124 and the victories of 2024. However, those victories had their beginning, or genesis, in a hidden theme shown in Genesis 23, which was all about the death of Sarah:
1 And Sarah was a hundred -- and seven -- and twenty years old: these were the years of the life of Sarah. 2 And Sarah died in Kirjath-arba; the same is Hebron in the land of Canaan: and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her. Genesis 23:1-2
Firstly, as we saw above, the number 100 represents the fallen generation and 27 represents the end of things. Therefore, in Sarah’s age of 127 (100 + 27) when she died, we see the end of something connected to the ‘fallen generation’ and as will be seen, that something is defined by the meaning of her name.
Essentially, the same word in Hebrew for Sarah is used in Genesis 32, which is 23 backwards, when talking about why Jacob’s name is changed to Israel, but here it is translated as Striven (also translated has have power and to prevail), as the following shows:

Now Strongs Concordance gives the two words different Strong’s numbers as follows, but the fact is that they are written and pronounced exactly the same, as the screen shots of the two words below show:

The only real-world difference appears to be the context of where and how the words are used. As such, there definitely seems to be a connection between Sarah and Striving and because Sarah is seen to die at the age of 127, it seems to be showing that the ‘end of something’ that we are looking for in this instance, is the end of striving. In this way, Genesis Chapter 23, appears to be suggesting that the associated number 23 is also connected with the 'end of Striving'.
Now, since we already saw how God symbolically used the number 120 to represent the ‘end of Striving with sinful man’, it is important to make the distinction that 120 was a specific pointer to the very end of the age, in that 120 Jubilees (120 x 50) is 6,000 years, which is a reference to the whole of human history that will ultimately culminate with the Tribulation and the Second Coming. Additionally, Moses was seen symbolically to die at 120 because he was not weak or sick physically, as Deuteronomy 4 shows. He died because it was his appointed time:
7 Moses was one hundred and twenty years old when he died. His eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished. Deuteronomy 34:7
The point of this 120-year event is that it was a foreshadow to the 'end of time' when Jesus would come to take believers in the Rapture to the 'Promised Land of Heaven'. This is because Jesus' full name in Hebrew is Yehoshua (יְהוֹשׁוּעַ) translated as Joshua - noting that the more commonly understood Yeshua (ישֵׁוּעַ) is just an abbreviation of this, as seen in Nehemiah 8. Essentially, Moses' prophetically appointed time had come when he arrived at the border of the Promised Land, but Joshua as a type of Jesus had to take the people in. So, Moses' age of 120 was just an end-time symbolic connector.
In contrast to this, the ‘end of striving’ being pointed to here, in connection with Sarah's name and the number 23 and Genesis 23, is describing the beginning of a period that sees God shift from Grace towards all people, to a time when He will bring Justice and mercy for His people, but judgement upon the wicked. As such, it is pointing to a time before the Rapture, when His people are still on earth, that comes before the final end, as defined by the 120 above. This is a theme that seems consistent with Psalm 123:
1 Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. 2 Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the LORD our God, Until He has mercy on us. 3 Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us! For we are exceedingly filled with contempt. 4 Our soul is exceedingly filled With the scorn of those who are at ease, With the contempt of the proud. Psalms 123
As such, it also seemed to be suggesting that 2023 would be a year when God would no longer strive with sinful man but would begin to Judge the wicked and bring Justice.
Judgement in the House of God
In this regard though, there is a principle that is seen throughout scripture that shows ‘Judgement begins in the house of the Lord’, as Peter said in 1Peter 4:17:
17 For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 1 Peter 4:17
2023 is well known due to October 7th when Hamas invaded Israel. Previous attacks by Hamas paled in comparison to the horrors unleashed in October 7. Israelis cried out for mercy as they were subjected to so many horrors both from Hamas and from the scorn and hatred of the Anti-Semitic reaction that followed in the West, effectively blaming Israel for occupying Palestinian land, ignoring their 3,000-year affiliation with the Land that God had given them, as recorded in the ancient documents that form our bible. As such, they were definitely filled with the scorn of those who were at ease and the contempt of the proud self-righteous people, as Psalm 123 states. However, in God’s mercy, Israel began to get early victories against Hamas that would be exponentially amplified in 2024.
It is also important to note that as the 'household of God', in the time of the patriarchs, there was an extremely unusual succession in the 23rd generation of the Messianic Line that followed Jacob / Israel, as the 22nd generation, because God had begun His most significant judgement to date, in determining the inheritance of the birth-right of His chosen people.
Essentially, while the birth-right normally goes to the first-born Son, Genesis 35 shows how Jacob’s first-born son Reuben disqualified himself by sleeping with his father’s concubine:
22 While Israel lived in that land, Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine. And Israel heard of it. Genesis 35:22
Then the next two sons Simeon and Levi also disqualified themselves by deceitfully agreeing to give their sister Dinah to Shechem, the son of Hamor the Hivite. Shechem had raped their sister, and they were very angry, but his father Hamor had appealed to them saying
8 … “The soul of my son Shechem longs for your daughter. Please give her to him to be his wife. 9 Make marriages with us. Give your daughters to us, and take our daughters for yourselves. 10 You shall dwell with us, and the land shall be open to you. Dwell and trade in it, and get property in it.” Genesis 34:8-10
Shechem also appealed to them saying:
11 Shechem also said to her father and to her brothers, “Let me find favor in your eyes, and whatever you say to me I will give. 12 Ask me for as great a bride-price and gift as you will, and I will give whatever you say to me. Only give me the young woman to be my wife.” Genesis 34:11-12
Deceitfully Simeon and Levi agreed to give Dinah to Shechem as a Bride, so long as his family circumcised themselves. Then they waited until the third day, when all the males were very sore and could not defend themselves and killed them all.
25 On the third day, when they were sore, two of the sons of Jacob, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brothers, took their swords and came against the city while it felt secure and killed all the males. Genesis 34:25
Jacob was upset and declared:
30 …, “You have brought trouble on me by making me stink to the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites and the Perizzites. My numbers are few, and if they gather themselves against me and attack me, I shall be destroyed, both I and my household.” Genesis 34:30
In this way, the first 3 Sons disqualified themselves and the birth-right for the 23rd generation from Adam fell to Judah. Although he would be complicit in the events surrounding Joseph, that would result in Joseph’s exile to Egypt, Judah did appeal for his brothers not to kill him, and they listened to him. Thus, Judah was able to save Joseph’s life and remained viable for the birth-right:
26 Then Judah said to his brothers, “What profit is it if we kill our brother and conceal his blood? 27 Come, let us sell him to the Ishmaelites, and let not our hand be upon him, for he is our brother, our own flesh.” And his brothers listened to him. Genesis 37:26-27
As such, Judah became the 23rd generation, but the judgements that had resulted in the 4th Son of Jacob / Israel becoming the next in the line to the Messiah did not stop there because while now the birth-right should have passed to Judah’s first-born son Er, who had been given a woman called Tamar as a wife, to continue the line to the Messiah, Genesis 38:6-7 says:
6 And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, and her name was Tamar. 7 But Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD, and the LORD put him to death. Genesis 38:6-7
So, God Judged Er and killed him because he was wicked, which meant that Judah’s second born son Onan was the next in line. He was given to Tamar, under the law of Levirate Marriage that is found in Deuteronomy 25:5-10, but again God judged Onan and killed him too for his wickedness, as Genesis 38:8-10 shows:
8 Then Judah said to Onan, “Go in to your brother’s wife and perform the duty of a brother-in-law to her, and raise up offspring for your brother.” 9 But Onan knew that the offspring would not be his. So whenever he went in to his brother’s wife he would waste the semen on the ground, so as not to give offspring to his brother. 10 And what he did was wicked in the sight of the LORD, and he put him to death also. Genesis 38:8-10
Clearly this distressed Judah, who after losing two sons did not want to lose his third younger son Shelah, and so he asked Tamar to remain in her father’s house until Shelah was older, as Genesis 38:11 shows:
11 Then Judah said to Tamar his daughter-in-law, “Remain a widow in your father’s house, till Shelah my son grows up”—for he feared that he would die, like his brothers. So Tamar went and remained in her father’s house. Genesis 38:11
Interestingly, Shelah's name means request; petition or begging, which is exactly what Judah was doing to Tamar, so this was prophetic to. However, Judah failed to keep his word and he did not give Shelah to Tamar, so when she heard that Judah was going up to a town called Timnah, which also ironically means “allotted portion”, she took matters into her own hands and removed her widow’s clothes; wrapped herself up and covered herself in a veil before sitting alongside the road that led to Timnah. Judah mistook her for a prostitute and because his own wife Shua had recently died he asked Tamar not knowing she was his daughter in law, how much it would be for him to come into her. In return for Judah’s pledge to give her a young goat from his flock, Tamar accepted his offer - his pledge involved him giving her his signet ring, bracelets and staff.
Ultimately, Tamar became pregnant and when Judah heard about this and was told that it had happened through harlotry, he was initially outraged and demanded she be put to death by being burned. However, when Tamar was brought out to him, she presented the items of his pledge saying that she had become pregnant by the one that owns these and Judah realised they were his and said:
6 … “She is more righteous than I, since I did not give her to my son Shelah.” And he did not know her again. Genesis 38:26
In the course of time, two sons were born to Judah and Tamar (whose name means righteous), being Perez and Zerah. We will discuss the significance of these shortly, when we look at the 24th Generation, but for the moment it is sufficient to note that the 23rd Generation in the Messianic Line from Adam to Jesus had involved significant judgements of God, including the disqualification of 3 Sons that resulted in Judah inheriting the birth-right and then this was followed by events involving another 3 sons that resulted in the death of 2 of them and the third being withheld from qualification because he was not offered in marriage to Tamar.
This all served to highlight the judgements of God, who was no longer striving with sinful man, and in the middle of it was Judah whose name means ‘Let Him (God) Be Praised’, which also emphasizes this transition that saw God begin judgement in the Household of God.
Continuing this theme in 2023, we note that for the Church there were several instances where people debated about whether or not they had been recipients of a judgement of God. An example of this was the First Congregation Church in Massachusetts that had stood for 160 years, but was burned down in June of 2023, after it had become known for its stance on LGBTQ+ issues – see links below that argue for and against this, but note that the book of Judges in the Bible showed that when Israel was obedient to God, they knew His blessings and when they were willfully disobedient He gave them up to the enemies:
Did a Church that Embraces LGBTQ+ People Burn Down After a Lightning Strike? | Snopes.com
To add context to all of this though, it is important to understand that God’s judgements, in relation to His people, are always for the purpose of restoring them to a right-relationship with Himself because of His great love for us.
Additionally, we need to recognize that unless people Repent, His judgements are irreversible and though they began in the Household of God, they would quickly begin to transition to the wicked and this is what we began to see toward the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024. Israel would have many victories over Hamas and its other enemies who are all proxies of Iran and while they are not yet completely defeated, that time is coming closer.
A Biblical Connection to Hamas
Notably as per below, Hamas (in Hebrew חָמָס), the end-time enemy of Israel is actually represented in the Bible as a word that means Cruelty and Violence.
There are no coincidences in God and while it appears in a number of locations in the Bible one of the Key Locations is in Psalm 27. Here it is translated as cruelty, as follows:
12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD Psalms 27:12-13
Remembering that 27 is an end-time number or last things number, as shown above (see futher information here), the significance of this should be self-evident. However, as will be seen there is something quite incredible that happens in relation to this Psalm every year.
It occurs in connection with an orthodox Jewish practice known as the Season of Teshuva (repentance). Originally this was a 40-day period that started on the 1st of Elul (Rosh Chodesh Elul) and ended with the 10th of Tishrei, the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) or Judgement day. Each year, this time is considered as a sacred time of Repentance, that marks a spiritually intense phase of prayer and reflection, echoing the time when Moses ascended Mount Sinai to receive the second set of tablets (10 commandments) and interceded for the Israelites. The belief is that by showing Repentance at this time of year, God will pour out His mercy and blessings for the year that begins and ends on Yom Kippur. Significantly in the 18th Century this Season of Teshuva was extended to include an additional 11 days after Yom Kippur, leading up to Hoshana Rabbah (21st Tishrei) and was altered to include the recitation of Psalm 27 each day for the entire 51-day period.
So amazingly, in 2023, many orthodox Jews were reciting Psalm 27 that is connected to the end-times and includes a cry for deliverance from their enemies, who were breathing out Hamas (חָמָס), violence and cruelty, every day for 51 days starting on 1st of Elul (Rosh Chodesh Elul), which was Friday August 18th and continued through to 21st Tishrei (Hoshana Rabbah) the last day of Sukkot, which was Friday 6th October. The very next day was OCT 7 when HAMAS attacked. As such, many Jews even before it happened had effectively been praying to God for deliverance from the very thing that would begin the day after they finished reciting Psalm 27, at the very end or their Season of Repentance (Teshuva). Though it would be the most difficult period in Israel's modern history, God went ahead of them and is still answering this prayer and plea, with Hamas all but defeated now.
In this regard, what many did not notice, the day that Hamas attacked was actually 22nd Tishrei on the Hebrew Calendar. In modern Israel this day is usually celebrated as Simchat Torah, which is a day of celebration over the cycle of Torah readings coming to an end and a new cycle beginning. However, this is not a biblical feast, only a modern one. The true feast meant to be celebrated that day is actually called Shemini Atzeret, the 8th day Gathering or Assembly. It is mentioned in Leviticus 23:36, as part of the Feasts of the Lord, being the next day after the 7-day Feast of Sukkot finishes:
36 For seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. It is a sacred assembly, and you shall do no customary work on it. 37 These are the feasts of the LORD which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering and a grain offering, a sacrifice and drink offerings, everything on its day Leviticus 23:36-37
Its significance is that it is the one day that all of Bible Prophecy points to. In the future, it will be the day that follows the Millenium (the 7th day), the day that never ends - eternity. It is the end of time and Jesus whose number is 8 will on the 8th day create a new Heaven and new Earth, as it says in Revelation 21 and there will be no more pain, death, crying, suffering, or sorrow. So literally, the day Hamas attacked was prophetically the beginning of their end because it happened on the one day that God says represents the end of death and sorrow and a new beginning for all who trust Him.
A couple of other significant things in relation to this is that this Psalm, that includes the plea for deliverance, was being prayerfully recited for a total of 51 days. Again, there are no coincidences in God because in the 'Exodus from Egypt' it was exactly on the 51st day that Moses and the Israelites consecrated themselves to God with the blood of the covenant, after receiving the 10 commandments on the 50th day, the first Pentecost, the day before:
4 And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD. And he rose early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain, and twelve pillars according to the twelve tribes of Israel. 5 Then he sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen to the LORD. 6 And Moses took half the blood and put it in basins, and half the blood he sprinkled on the altar. 7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, “All that the LORD has said we will do, and be obedient.” 8 And Moses took the blood, sprinkled it on the people, and said, “This is the blood of the covenant which the LORD has made with you according to all these words.” Exodus 24:4-8
As such, 51 is a special number that is connected with being consecrated to God. This connection can also be seen numerically because
51 = 3 x 17 and 3 represents the Trinity of God and 17 the day that Jesus was Resurrected by the Spirit and ascended to the Father before appearing to His disciples.
Only Mary Magdalene had seen Him before He had ascended. This in itself was like the bookend of the Prophecy in Genesis 3:15 about the 'Seed of the Woman'. Here Jesus, as the God who reverses the Curse, was speaking in a Garden to a Woman whom He had healed and redeemed. She was the first person to see the Resurrected Lord and it brought closure to the event in the 'Garden of Eden' where the deception of Eve, as the first woman, had led to the 'fall of mankind'. Two Gardens and Two Women, the Curse and the Redemption.
16 Jesus said to her, “Mary!” She turned and said to Him, “Rabboni!” (which is to say, Teacher). 17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ” 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that He had spoken these things to her. John 20:11-18
Additionally, 51 x 3 = 153 is the number of fish caught in the gospel of John, that in the full context of the passage is symbolic of SALVATION:
9 Then, as soon as they had come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.” 11 Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken. John 21:9-11
So, 51 is a very special number that is connected to the new life (17) of the Resurrected Jesus who calls us to consecrate ourselves to Him (17 x 3 = 51) before He leads us to be 'fishers of men' and participate in the work or Redemption and Salvation (51 x 3 = 153).
Numerical Significance of 13
Finally, there is said to be a connection with Psalm 27 and the number 13, as follows:
The following is an excerpt taken from the following Wikipedia article: Thirteen Attributes of Mercy - Wikipedia
"Psalm 27 contains 13 mentions of God's name (Adonai or variations), that symbolically invoke the Thirteen Attributes of Mercy. This is understood as an intentional link to the divine qualities we aspire to during the Season of Teshuva. These divine qualities, that are enumerated in Exodus 34:6–7, emphasize God's compassion, patience, and forgiveness."

The significance of all this is in how it shows a connection between our themes of 13 and the end-time Judgement of Hamas, which also ties in with the end-time number 27 and its associated Psalm that brings hope. Then it shows how all this connects with the number 51 that represents new life; the consecration that follows; and the salvation that a consecrated life leads to. And if you follow the link above in relation to the meaning of the number 27 you will see how it all connects to end-time events.
The 24th Generation and its connection to 2024
Now we shall consider the number 24 and its possible connections with Genesis 24 and Psalm 124 and the meanings of the names of the sons born to Tamar, who would vie for being the 24th generation in the line to the Messiah.
At its core, 24 is a multiple of 12 that has been demonstrated elsewhere to represent the ‘Seed of the Woman’, whose declared purpose in Genesis 3:15 is stated as being to Crush Satan’s head. As God chooses to use people to achieve His purposes, He chose 12 Tribes under the Old Covenant (Testament) to bring the Messiah to the world and 12 Apostles under the New Covenant to bring the good news of the Messiah Jesus’ substitutionary death to the world. This resulted in 24 people being effectively the hands and the feet of the Messiah, who are reflected in the book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, as 24 Elders seated on Thrones, around the Throne of God.
Ultimately, this resulted in 25 Thrones, in fulfilment of the promise by God that ‘he that overcomes’ will rule and reign with Christ in the Kingdom to come. In this way, 25 is also seen as a number that represents the promises of God, which is why Abram, whose name meant ‘Exalted Father’ was 75 (25 x 3) years old when he was called by God, was given the Promised Son (a type of God the Father and His promised Son Jesus) exactly 25 years later, when he turned 100 (25 x 4) years old and had his name changed to Abraham, which means ''Father of a multitude' – prophetically looking forward to all who would be saved.
Psalm 124 - However back to 24, which represents the victorious work of God (as the ‘Seed of the Woman’) to defeat Satan and Psalm 124, which extols how if it had not been for the LORD, Israel would have perished under the hand of the enemy.
1 “If it had not been the LORD who was on our side,” Let Israel now say— 2 “If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, When men rose up against us, 3 Then they would have swallowed us alive, When their wrath was kindled against us; 4 Then the waters would have overwhelmed us, The stream would have gone over our soul; 5 Then the swollen waters Would have gone over our soul.” 6 Blessed be the LORD, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth. 7 Our soul has escaped as a bird from the snare of the fowlers; The snare is broken, and we have escaped.8 Our help is in the name of the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. Psalms 124
2024 - This Psalm clearly seems to reference the victories over Hamas ("the men who rose up against us") that the Lord gave Israel. For example, God gave His people many strategies that enabled them to decimate the Leadership of the enemy forces, such as the plan that utilized 'exploding pagers' that specifically targeted the key leaders. As we know the savagery of the attack was unprecedented and so when verse 3 states that they would have swallowed them alive when their wrath was kindled against them, this Psalm gels with the events involving Hamas. Also, the fact that in spite of Iran having many weapons and many proxies (Hamas; Hezbollah; Houthis; Islamic Jihad etc.) and much support from Syria, Russia and Turkey, who are all tools in the hand of Satan, God has decimated the proxies who though they are still fighting are just a shadow of what they were and what they could have been, if it had not been the LORD who was on their side. Now, in relation to Iran, the proverbial 'head of the snake', Israel has the full support of the Trump Administration in the United States, after He became the President elect in 2024 and the 47th president in 2025. So, it appears feasible that a time could be coming soon when a temporary peace could be reached, that would become the trigger for the Rapture, for as 1 Thessalonians 5:3 states, this will happen when the world is saying 'Peace and Security'.
Genesis 24 - Then there is Genesis 24, which is all about the Father (Abraham) who is looking for a bride for His son (Isaac). It is a picture of God the Father seeing who wants to be married to His Son by becoming part of the bride of Christ. It logically follows on from the theme of victory seen in Psalm 124 and also in modern Israel. God sets us free so that we can become part of His family forever.
3 And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: 4 But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac. Genesis 24:3-4
Notably also, Iran is understood by organizations that minister to the persecuted church to be the fastest growing Christian nation in the world. This is a stunning victory for the Gospel that is building the Church that Jesus is returning to gather to Himself, to take back to His Father’s House. Here, all who love and trust Him will become part of the Bride and will partake in the marriage to Jesus, the Lamb of God. In a very real sense, the ‘Rapture of the Church’ is understood as the Groom (Jesus) coming back for His Bride (the Church) and given that the day that the Father will tell his Son to go and get His bride (in line with ancient Jewish weddings) is drawing close, there is a call by God going out into the world to see who wants to be part of the Bride of Christ and this is all reflected in the themes associated with 24 and the activity of the Holy Spirit in the world in 2024.
The Hidden Clues in the generational names
To further our understanding of the themes, that may be attached to the numbers, we will now consider the remaining names, introduced earlier, that are from the Messianic Line from Adam to Jesus, to see if the meanings affirm what has been discussed so far.
As we have already discussed the meaning behind Jacob / Israel and Judah’s names we will now look at Perez, who was the 24th from Adam before completing this study with Hezron the 25th generation in this line:

This is where things begin to get very interesting because the 24th generation has a hidden secret, which comes about because of a very unusual event associated with the birth of Perez, who had a twin brother, who I believe was prophetically significant.
In this regard, God seems to have used the birth of twins at pivotal times in the history of Redemption to highlight deeper mysteries. This started with Cain and Able who highlighted the fact that although mankind had fallen, there was a way of righteousness that everyone can choose or reject that leads us back to our Heavenly Father. Able chose this way while Cain, the first-born, remained in rebellion and killed his brother. This led to God replacing Able with Seth another appointed son who chose the path of righteousness, which we have seen already in this article, ultimately leads to Jesus, our Saviour.
Another set of Twins were Jacob and Esau, with Jacob again seeking the path that would lead back to God while Esau, the first-born, despised his birth right. So again, Jacob, as we have discussed at some length already had his name changed to Israel and became the 22nd generation in the line to the Messiah. In this way, it seems clear that God is expecting us to pay close attention to the set of twins who are vying to be the 24th generation from Adam to Christ because He wants to reveal something very significant to us.
Notably, the first-born in each instance of twins was the one that followed their fallen nature and despised the way of righteousness that God had established when He provided the first substitutionary death of an innocent life, as a covering for the sins of mankind in Adam:
21 Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. Genesis 3:21
Symbolically, this pointed to the sacrifice of Jesus and those that put their faith in God’s provision for their sin are like Abel and Jacob who both chose the path of righteousness that leads to Life. Importantly, neither were the first-born, which emphasizes it is both by God’s grace and by our free will choice, through faith in God’s offer of Salvation, that we are saved.
Twin Boys - and God's Election
With this understanding we can now look at Perez and his twin brother who were both vying to be the 24th generation from Adam to Christ. Initially Perez’s twin was set to be born first. His brother had extended one of his hands out of the womb and the mid-wife had tied a scarlet ribbon on it so that she would be able to identify the first-born afterwards.
However, his brother suddenly pulled back his hand and Perez was born first, being given that name because it means ‘Breach’ or ‘Break through’, indicating that his birth was unexpected, but he had broken through first. His brother was then born and was given the name Zerah, which is also a verb that has an amazing range of meanings that include - to rise up and to shine forth, as the contents below from the Complete Word Study Bible show:
H2225. זֶרַח zeraḥ: A masculine noun indicating a dawning or rising of something. It indicates sunrise or the shining forth of light (Isa. 60:3), but it is used metaphorically of the Lord rising up over Zion.
It is directly related to the Verb Zarah, as per below:
H2224. זָרַח zāraḥ: A verb meaning to rise up, to dawn, to shine forth; to ‘break out’. It refers to the rising or shining of the sun (Gen. 32:31[32]). It refers figuratively to the rising reputation or approval of a person who does good to the hungry and poor (Isa. 58:10) or to God dawning on Israel from Mount Seir (Deut. 33:2). Used of illnesses, it describes the breaking out of skin diseases (2 Chr. 26:19).
So when one considers the meaning of Zerah’s name, in light of the Rapture event that will involve Believers rising up into the Clouds to meet the Risen Lord, whose Face is described in Revelation as shining brighter than the Sun, then this event that involved Zerah having a Scarlet thread (that is a clear type of those covered by the blood of the Lord Jesus) tied to his hand, just before he pulls it back into the womb, is stunning. Even Daniel 12 talks about the day coming when Believers will shine like the stars:
3 And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness, like the stars forever and ever. Daniel 12:3
Zerah’s name certainly seems related to the very nature of the Rapture, but by pulling his hand clothed with the scarlet thread back into the womb, it is as though God said, ‘Not just Yet’ to the return of Jesus at the Rapture for His blood bought Bride, 'I am still building my Church', the Bride of Christ. Therefore, while the Rapture event could have happened in 2024, God seemed to be saying 'not just yet', but it is close because symbolically it was about to be born. In this respect, it is notable that many times in scripture the Rapture is referenced in connection with the metaphor of a woman giving birth, as the verse from 1 Thessalonians 5 below shows.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 5:1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 - 5:3
It is also interesting to consider that the only prophetic requirement yet to be fulfilled before the Rapture can happen is that Israel has to be living in some sort of temporary peace, such that they along with the rest of the World will be saying “Peace and Safety" or "Peace and Security", depending upon the translation, because it is then that 1 Thessalonians says the Day of the Lord (Tribulation), that is preceded by the Rapture, will come, noting that it is the people of the world, not believers, who will not escape.
In this way, I believe Perez who was the one that broke out, became a symbol of those yet to break out of their Sin. He represented those that God wanted to add to the Bride of Christ in the last days, as symbolized in Genesis 24, when a servant of the Father sought a bride for the Son. In terms of the birth-order, it is significant to note that the second-born of God’s twins, in the line to the Messiah, was the one that carried the greatest blessing. Therefore, it seems that the fact that Zerah, with the scarlet thread, was initially set to be born first, but then pulled his hand back into the womb, before being fully born is a powerful message from God that there is a substantial blessing attached to this event, that may be concealed in the meaning of his name.
Firstly Zerah, like all believers who are born into the world, who are not fully born to life-eternal, needed to be born again. For Believers this happens by God’s Spirit when we by faith have our sinful nature covered with the atoning blood of Jesus (symbolized by the scarlet thread) remembering what it says in Philippians:
6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; Philippians 1:6:
Here God is promising to sanctify us, and to cleanse us from all of our sin, with the process being completed on the Day of Jesus Christ, which is the Rapture. Importantly, this is also the promise and the blessing that is concealed in the symbolism associated with the account of Zerah’s birth. It shows that the Rapture is a hidden event and one that will occur at an appointed time, the appointed Day of Jesus Christ, as hinted at above in relation to Seth and the 130 that possibly points to both 32 AD and 2032.
As such, while none of us can be certain exactly when it will occur, we can be sure that we are now in the season and know that it is extremely close. This seems evident by looking at the meaning of the name for the next generation in the Messianic Line from Adam to Jesus – the 25th Generation, represented by Hezron חֶצְר֥וֹן, who by this theory is connected with 2025.
The 25th Generation and its connection to 2025
So, Perez broke forth, being born before Zerah, to become the 24th generation and he had a son who became the 25th generation who was named Hezron.
According to Strongs Dictionary, Hezron carries the following meaning:
h2696. חֶצְרוֹן ḥeṣrôn; from 2691; courtyard; Chetsron, the name of a place in Palestine; also of two Israelites: — Hezron.
AV (18) - Hezron 18; Hezron = "surrounded by a wall" n pr m
Also, according to Abarim Publications, who can be accessed via this link Hezron | The amazing name Hezron: meaning and etymology , we have the following meaning that also includes the idea of Enclosure, as well as being ‘Sorrounded by’
Hezron meaning - For a meaning of the name Hezron, NOBSE Study Bible Name List reads Enclosure. Jones' Dictionary of Old Testament Proper Names quotes Gesenius and read Enclosed or Surrounded By A Wall. BDB Theological Dictionary does not interpret Hezron but does list it under the noun חצר (haser), meaning Village.
With the primary meaning of Sorrounded by; Sorrounded by a Wall or Enclosure, one scripture Immediately comes to mind and is the perfect match for our theory – Psalm 125:
2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds his people, from this time forth and forevermore. Psalms 125:2
Clearly there seems to be a link between the meaning of the name of the person representing the 25th generation from Adam in the Messianic Line to Jesus and Psalm 125. Importantly though in terms of understanding the significance of this, if God is really hinting that Zerah symbolizes those soon to be Raptured, then perhaps Hezron, the next in line, in a logical progression, may symbolize those who have been Raptured. That his name means Enclosed or Surrounded goes a long way to supporting this idea, when one considers its connection numerically with Psalm 125, that contains a promise from God about a time when He will surround His people. Then saying that it will happen “from this time forth and forevermore”, this clearly suggests that the promise is being made in connection with a specific time and event, which can only be the Rapture because at every other time in history, God’s people still have had to deal with their enemies at some level.
Additionally, if we look at Genesis 25 to see if there is any correlation, we find that this chapter involved the death of Abraham, but importantly it says the following in verse 5, that Abraham gave all he had to his son Isaac, which symbolically suggests, in relation to the timeline of Redemption, that it has become the Time of the Son:
5 Abraham gave all he had to Isaac. Genesis 25:5
This in turn reminds us of the following verses that emphasize that before everything is completed, the Father gives everything to the Son:
35 The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. 36 Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him. John 3:35-36
And
27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him. Matthew 11:27
In this regard, Genesis Chapter 25 is a stunning timing clue for the end-times because we know the Rapture events are modelled after those that are part of the Jewish Wedding, where at the Appointed Time, the Father tells his Son it is time to get His Bride – it is a Time of Transition from being a time where we are waiting upon the Father to one where we are waiting upon the Son.
This is a direct reference to the Rapture, which in turn is the beginning of the Day of the Lord that also involves the Father putting things into subjection, under the feet of His Son Jesus, before the time of the End. And ultimately, this will be a time when everything will again become subjected to the Father, as it says in 1 Corinithians 15, so that God may be all in all:
27 For “God has put all things in subjection under his feet.” But when it says, “all things are put in subjection,” it is plain that he is excepted who put all things in subjection under him. 28 When all things are subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected to him who put all things in subjection under him, that God may be all in all. 1 Corinthians 15:27-28
Then Genesis 25 continues by discussing the birth of Esau and Jacob, who would become ISRAEL, before culminating in the account of Jacob purchasing the birth-right that Esau despised, highlighting that there are spiritually two types of people - those who pursue God’s blessings and those that only seek the pleasures of this world; and both will come under the Judgement of the Son, as John 5 states:
22 For the Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him. 24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. John 5:22-24
Finally, this passage continues from verse 25 with Jesus connecting the Resurrection from the Dead with the Day of Judgement, both of which are themes associated with the Rapture:
25 “Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live. 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man. 28 Do not marvel at this, for an hour is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who have done good to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil to the resurrection of judgment. John 5:19-29
To understand this properly, because it can be interpreted in a number of different ways, it is important to note that when it talks about the hour that is coming in verse 25, it includes the phrase “and is now”, so clearly that hour being spoken of, in relation to 'the dead hearing the voice of God and living' is being applied to all those who hear the gospel of Jesus Christ from the time of the first century until today. As such, the word 'hour' represents a season, or a period of time, that in this instance has lasted nearly two thousand years.
This serves to clarify the next reference to an 'hour' "that is coming" in verse 28 that speaks not just about the spiritually dead, but the physically dead because they are described as being in tombs. Clearly, this hour can be a season that lasts a period of time too. This is confirmed in Revelation 3:10, where Jesus in talking about the Tribulation, that elsewhere is shown to be a 7-year period, says:
10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Revelation 3:10
So here Jesus equates the 7-year Tribulation with a symbolic ‘hour of temptation’ that will come upon the whole world. As such, when the passage in John 5 refers to two different types of Resurrections, one for the for those who have done good to the Resurrection of Life and the other for those who have done evil to the Resurrection of Judgement, we know that these can be occurring at different times, which is consistent with the Rapture Theology that places the first Resurrection for Life, at the time of the Rapture, as stated in 1 Thessalonians:
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
which according to 1 Thessalonians 5 occurs prior to the Tribulation, when the world is saying “Peace and Safety”
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:2-3
And then the sudden destruction of verse 3 corresponds with the start of the Tribulation that will also involve the revealing of the Antichrist as 2 Thessalonians 2 shows:
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 2 Thessalonians 2:3
The point is that the themes of the number 25, which are also arguably associated with 2025, and that include God the Father subjecting everything to the Son, suggesting it is His time to gather His Bride; and God promising to surround and enclose His people, from that time forward and forever, are in this passage of John 5 also being connected with a time that involves 2 types of Resurrections. One being a Resurrection to Life and the other to Judgement, which scripture shows are the book end events of the Tribulation that starts with the Rapture.
Final Thoughts
Firstly, I need to repeat that in no way am I emphatically stating that the Rapture will be in 2025, I am just trying to share patterns in God’s word, in both this article and others, that show there are a number of things that do point to this year being a possibility. So, at the very least I believe people should be drawing closer to God to ensure that they are right with Him and to seek His help to redeem the time because regardless of whether He returns this year, or soon after, time is short and we need to be sharing the gospel with our loved ones and anyone else that will listen.
With that said, I will now try to connect some dots….
Firstly, we saw that the 22nd Generation in the Messianic Line, from Adam to Jesus, introduced Jacob / Israel, who represented both a physical and a spiritual nation (all believers). Then we noted that Israel, as a nation began to cut the stones for the 3rd Temple in 2022, advancing bible prophecy. We also saw that Genesis 22 was the backstory of God promising the birth of the nation that would bring us the Messiah / Saviour of the world, while Psalm 122 was about the people of that nation having delight in going up to the 'House of God', or the Temple. All of this emphasized that the God was again raising up Israel, as a sign to the world.
Then in the 23rd Generation, in Jacob's son Judah, which means ‘Let Him (God) Be Praised’, we saw God begin to reign. In Genesis 23 this was coupled with the idea that the end of God striving with Sinful man had been reached and Judgement was beginning. Notably scripture shows that judgement begins in the house of God and as such this judgement was seen in the 'Messianic Line' with the 23rd generation from Adam involving the disqualification of 3 of Jacob’s sons before Judah was selected. Then as the 23rd generation, Judah literally lost the first two of his sons, who would have carried the seed of the Messiah, to a judgement of God, with scripture literally saying God killed them because they were wicked.
Psalm 123 reflected what clearly seem to be a theme of judgement, as it speaks of the cries of God’s people for mercy and mercy is only something that one asks for if you know that you deserve punishment of some kind. In recognizing God's authority over them, they ask for mercy because their Souls are weighed down by the scorn of all those who hold them in contempt. Now regardless of whether one views the modern attacks by Hamas as a judgment of God, or as simply His permissive will, the fact is that it was occurring and the cries for mercy in Psalm 123 all seemed to be reflected towards the end of 2023, when God began to give Israel victories against Hamas. Additionally, there were numerous examples throughout the year when it appears that God had begun to judge some Churches because of their unbiblical stance on many issues, where they had disregarded God’s moral laws and had corrupted the Gospel.
2024 - During the year that followed the Hamas attack, God gave His people many victories and strategies that enabled them to decimate the Leadership of the enemy forces. Ultimately, Hamas and Hezbollah in Lebanon along with Iran were all weakened, such that Israel now with the backing of America under President Trump are in a strong position that realistically puts victory of the inner circle of their enemies in sight (which will arguably be a fulfilment of Psalm 83), just as is reflected in Psalm 124.
Additionally, the 24th generation in Perez, instead of Zerah (who had the scarlet thread tied to his hand), suggests that the time for God’s full judgement against the wicked, that will begin with the Rapture (when all the Righteous are removed), was not appointed to occur in 2024 because symbolically Zerah withdrew his hand (marked with scarlet), back into the womb and remained hidden until his appointed time. Rather, during that year, as Genesis 24 shows, God the Father was looking to see who wanted to be part of the Bride for His Son because the time when His son would return for His bride is drawing close.
Although much of the world, including some of the Church, do not acknowledge the Rapture, the symbolism of Zerah whose name is a masculine noun indicating a dawning or rising of something, in connection with sunrise or the shining forth of light seems a clear reference to the event where believers that are all marked with the blood of Jesus (represented by the Scarlet Thread) will rise up into the clouds to meet the Risen LORD in the air, whose face is shining brighter than the Sun. This typology was also affirmed by the prophet Malachi who stated the following in connection with the coming Day of the LORD:
2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. Malachi 4:2
That the scarlet thread is a type of the Blood of Jesus is undeniable because it was also repeated later in Scripture in connection with Rahab. She was a gentile prostitute living in Jericho, in the ‘Promised Land’, when Joshua and the Israelites were conquering it. Rahab put her trust in the God of the Israelites and helped the Spies when they were planning how to capture Jericho. In return, she was told to put a scarlet thread in her window to mark her household, which would be saved when Jericho was attacked:
18 Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind -- this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring -- thy father, and -- thy mother, and -- thy brethren, and -- all thy father’s household, home unto thee. 19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, if any hand be upon him. 20 And if thou utter -- this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear. 21 And she said, according unto your words, so be it. And she sent them away, and they departed: and she bound -- the scarlet line in the window. Joshua 2:18-21
In this way, Rahab was saved, and she married Salmon, who was of the tribe of Judah, and together they gave birth to Boaz, who married Ruth. Thus, Rahab was actually in the lineage to Christ, being the great-great-grandmother of King David.
In this way, 2024, as also reflected in Psalm 124, became a time of grace, during which God began to defeat the enemies of His people. Even the election of Donald Trump, as President of the United States, was a mark of the favor Psalm 124 talks about, in relation to God’s people, because he could pass laws that support God’s moral code and again give people the freedom to share the Gospel without the fear of being cancelled by the extreme Left’s Woke agenda.
All this laid a background to suggest a possible scenario for 2025, which matched elements of Psalm 125:
1 Those who trust in the LORD Are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides forever. 2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So the LORD surrounds His people From this time forth and forever. 3 For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest On the land allotted to the righteous, Lest the righteous reach out their hands to iniquity.4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to those who are upright in their hearts. 5 As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, The LORD shall lead them away With the workers of iniquity. Peace be upon Israel! Psalms 125
Here there is a suggestion that an event initiated by the Lord may result in Him surrounding His people from that time forth and forever. The suggestion is also that it may be an escape for the Righteous (which simply means those who are trusting in Jesus) so that the iniquity of the wicked will not corrupt them. As such, it is my contention that the event hinted at here could be the Rapture that like Zerah involves a rising up to the Light when Jesus the Groom comes to gather His Bride to take them back to the Father’s House, like it says in John 14:2-4:
2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. John 14:2-3
In this way, the Rapture event would also be fulfilling Isaiah 26, where it states that the Rapture and the Tribulation are simultaneous events:
20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. 21 For, behold, the LORD cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: -- the earth also shall disclose -- her blood, and shall no more cover her slain. Isaiah 26:20-21
Then finally the 25th generation of Hezron, as a possible type and a foreshadow of things to come, in conjunction with the numbers associated with 130 (98 and 32) and its multiple 3900, could see a convergence that all points to events in the time frame 2025-2032.
Lastly, as stated, whether these things actually come to pass this year or not, I believe the patterns are there to encourage us to be watching and to be ready, as it says in 1 Thessalonians 5:
4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. 5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. 1 Thessalonians 5:4-6
So let us watch and be sober…. JESUS IS COMING SOON!
